oh and i wanted to get this off my chest, lol, but the "rules" are set to get on the leaderboard, not to post here. so quit yelling at all the "new" posters about the rules, since they only apply to the "official" leaderboard.

These Rules apply to posting, not the Leaderboard:

8. You may share settings if you wish, however nobody can force you to do so.
9. Please act with courtesy and respect at all times

If you post using correct English, or at least, the highest standard of English that you are capable of (As opendriver stated), resist from posting "i got to 420 MPH!" style comments, and do us the favour of actually READING the first post in this thread, then we won't have to inform you of the Rules:tup:.

p.s. "unofficially" i'm up to 364.19 and i'm gunning for 2nd place just like barry bonds, so watch out opendriver, i am in your rearview mirror haha

Well, you'll have to get past me first mate! And don't think you'll be safe for long if you do manage to get past!:) But good luck to you anyway.

Well done, ChampCarFan! There's plenty more to be sucked out of that car, so don't hold back!👍

Hope to see you back on the scene soon, MasterStorm.

Good to see that you didn't forget that speed, open! Looking forward to seeing some speeds from you, 2078TM:tup:.

Hey dark elite please clean out your inbox so you can receive messages thanks
There's now some space. Incredible how many people can want me when I'm away for all of half a day. Although I can't see why you'd need to PM me in the first place... And please don't double-post, as Opendriver says, or tell established members what to do, as FormulaGT explains. Thanks guys.

I'll update the leaderboard ASAP, got some Tuning Competition judging to catch up on :)

Trying to get a mean mother of an understeerer around Tsukuba, yeah... Well, it beats Toyota bBs at Infineon :D

Well done ChampCarFan, as FormulaGT says there's a lot more to be gained from the 88C-V, so go find it! :)
Opendriver, if you put those settings onto a new 787B, maybe you'd be in for a record...?
Leaderboard Updated

I actually preferred the bB to that *!"£&%&&%£ Impreza...... On the upside, the GT is properly fun, and the Charger is, well, interesting :D

Back on topic, my search for a new 300 car is so far fruitless :( I shall keep looking, although I'm starting to wonder if all the possibles have been exhausted. Thinking positive though!

I really didn't, Greg, you try driving eight vans that are pretty much exactly the same, and then try finding something different to say!
Charger?? Oooh, Week 10, I'll go in for judging that one :)
Looking forward to testing the GT if it is that good :dopey:

Anyways, there's a topic around here somewhere  wish you luck on finding some inspiration for a new 300mph car - there's still plenty out there, try something totally random and it might surprise you! 👍

hey guys im not sure if any1 has done this yet but im am edging ever closer to doing 300 without nos. more detail to come tomorrow as im not exactly supposed to be using the computer right now. wish me luck!!!

edit: scratch that. i just actually read the board, and theres no way ill come anywhere close to some of the no-nos speeds that are on there. serioulsy, 355?!?!?! ahh well... anyway i got my pesky over the top at about 309-309. confirmation coming as soon as I get another uberstick (a vynl i put on my last thumbdrive. my grandma saw it and thought that was the technicall name. lol.)

serioulsy, 355?!?!?!
Er, no, nobody has done 355mph without nitrous. :odd: The current non-nitrous record belongs to Toronado, in his Toyota GT-One at 325.06mph. But you would be the first official non-nitrous Pescarolo driver if you can prove it.

DE

i have a new idea for a new car, but i have to wait for the 6.2mile edition of this car........so maybe i can come up with a new speed in the next time!!

Speaking of which, I pulled out the old GT1 and got a 324.56 out of it, more room left for needed improvement:D

Sighs...

Come on, if you think a bit, you can easily put the following words to remind new members to read the rules:

"Please read post #1 for rules."

Wasn't that easy?

This is the topic we've always been discussing - about members not reading rules.

And new speeds.

So we are on topic.

And I wasn't responding to your post where you said you're going to try to get a Street car to top 50. I was just suggesting a way to make new members read the rules.

Ah **** man i thought you were :ouch: , sorry about that. My bad then :dunce: Kiss and were friends :)

i don't think that you can bring a roadcar in the top50, therefore you must be faster than 340mph.......and that's difficult with a roadcar!

Well, it looks like the video capture card works as advertised and have managed to get the video on YouTube.

So, here goes, my first record submission: Bentley Speed 8 at 356.07MPH

Hmm, that didn't work, let's try something else

Clearly I'm doing something wrong - how do I embed the YouTube video in my post?

Thanks

Go for it :p

Leaving GT4_Rule to argue with Shinj, I can't really put 'READTHERULES' randomly in posts... Can I? :dopey:

Opendriver
Yeah, rookie mistake,
 :sly:

Anyway, nice going 2078TM, my main comment for your video is this - how much traction control do you have on? But, sadly I can't put it on the leaderboard without a Session Record screenshot to prove the exact speed. The video tells me you got to at least 355.9mph, but no more accurately than that :(
