welcome back Ichi, nice to see you keep up the good work you did! no news from me and my cars/speeds....

viper

Thankyou Viper!
Nice to see you here :D And thankyou :)

I´m right now running around with my Rx-8. 300.6x all the way.
Hope to get some better results (Even if it means 300.69 or 300.70 ^^)

And go go Viper. You have much talent to tune up some hard cars (like 350Z) and i will be glad to see some news from you, friend :D

Good luck in all your runs, and soon i get you some more news on the Rx-8 :)

Cheers,

Ichi

I cant believe I did it!!!!

Next, over 340 mph!!!👍

I finally broke 320 with the CLK-GTR. Sorry for the small picture just click on it. Does this put me in the 300mph club?

Seems I have some updating to do! Well done to all the new 300mph pilots! :)

havicks29, please read the Rules in Post One, namely Rule #1 - as you've not supplied sufficient proof for a 350mph+ speed, I'll put up your previous speed of 334.39mph.

hi im new to this whole forum thing. how should i adjust the gear ratios to get more speed? i set the final gear ratio to the lowest (2.500) on my minolta toyota and got a top speed of 315.4 using nos.

Well basicly you have the right idea set the final at the lowest. Then set the auto to 25 (in most cases). The rest you just need to tinker with the other ratios. Decrease for more speed and increase for better acceleration if needed. Its a time consuming process. Heavy downforce in rear and low in front also helps. Also a high front ride height and a low rear ride height should help.

Also if you need any further help you can PM me I'm probably not the best person but I am sure I can help

well i dont kno about the minolta because i tried to set the auto to the max and it didnt go as fast. i already have my suspension at the lowest rear and front. wouldn't the heavy downforce in the rear and low in front create the wheelie?

Yes it would but that is the key. You want to get close to doing a wheelie without acctually doing one. And I haven't tried the Minolta so I wouldn't know but if you set the nitrous to all power and use it on the last stretch only that should help get through that area of low power but mabey not keep trying. As I said before I am probably not the best person to help you but this is what I did and it worked well for me.

hi

sorry but im not that good with mph

so can someone (please) tell me the fastest top speed in kph?

becuase i can get a nissan skyline to do 450kph havn't tried with other cars yet....(u probably dont belive me becuase i dont have a picture of the top speed screen)

thnx alot:tup:

The fastest Nissan Skyline on the Leaderboard is 316.33mph, tsukuba_drifter, which is approximately 507.07699kph. Unfortunately, we do not allow any speeds recorded in kilometres per hour, as we do not know exactly what conversion rate GT4 uses - so the speeds converted by us could be inaccurate.

The outright fastest legitimate speed recorded is 371.90mph, which equates to approximately 597.6433kph. So you've got a little way to go yet ;)

I would advise against giving help to others, 05GT05, when you aren't using the best method yourself. :p

lazyslacker700, that does indeed mean you are on the Leaderboard! 👍
Or at least, you will be, once the server kicks into gear again.

Hello to all boys this is my first one post that facccio. I call Danny and are fierce to me it are recorded on GTPlanet. My I-Runner friend has advised to make a stroll to me with you here and to try a amacchina on the Course Test Max Velocità I have tried Well with: Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nur '02 elaborations to maximum - + NOS activated

The speed that I have caught up is

527.06 km/h

excused but I have not put the speed in mph But I have the replay on hand
That's the fastest legitimate Skyline speed I know of, though it was never added to the leaderboard as a picture/replay was not provided on these forums (I saw the picture over at I-Runners site). It would be nice to hear more from Danny55 around here if he's still tuning, as he seems to have some very good skills. We haven't heard from I-Runner in quite a while either.

That post is one I'd totally forgotten, MS... Probably on account of being away at the time, although I try to read up on posts I've missed - must have slipped my mind due to lack of verification. Referring to it as 'legitimate' might well be stretching things a little. I just can't see a speed that far in excess of the current (and hugely contested) record being possible. But it would be interesting to hear from the tuner again.

Well, as far as I am aware, that particular skyline is susceptible to the same tuning trick as some other 4WD cars, such as the Tommy Kaira ZZII, Mitsubishi 3000GT and Mitsubishi FTO SuperTourer. With those cars, you can get some very large increases in speed if you nail the setup perfectly. Just remember when myself and I-Runner raised the Tommy Kaira ZZ-II record from 316.xxmph to 330.xxmph in a matter of days by finding the cars sweet spot. 👍

Thanks DE... I'll be sure to get a video next time I try and break the 350mph+ mark...

Im having a hard time getting the Toyota GT one to get even over 300.. Ive even done the wheelie trick, and still its not getting there.. I know the wheelie trick isnt allowed, but im just playing with it. Anyone have the settings for the Toyota GTone for 300+? Id appreciate it.. thanks
Thanks again DE..

Yeah I do have settings I just got about 335mph today but I had the used version and I had it turbo charged. But Ill get the settings for you later and Ill edit this post and put them in here.

Another thing I only went 335 or so. So if you can find settings from some one else that would probably be a good idea

I don´t agree that taking cars to the 300Mph barrier is simple as getting gears up to Auto 25.
I´m not the best tunner here; I´m not even close to experienced guys like DE, MasterStorm, ViperPilot, Toronado, 2078TM and others, as i have already said here before ^^ But i think i know what i do, as i´m the fastest driver of one car in the leaderboard, and the second fastest Rx-8, losing only to 2078TM, the fastest Driver in the leaderboard, in a difference of 0.03Mph ^^

So, if i could be considered at least a driver who knows a little about Gt4 Max Speed Tuning, i would say:

Tune a car to the best speed will NEVER be simple to be explained with two or three rules. Gearing, Suspension, NoS, Tires, Spoilers, Downforce are extremely important, but as i have learned here, they aren´t everything. The way you shift up, start the NoS, and the way you go into the Test course do EXTREME differences. You need to tune it considering the way you are going to drive, and your way to tuning it´s only good to you driving-style.

Also, i will give you an example. I´ve got 300.68 on my Rx-8. My Auto Gears Settings are not even close to 20.

Hope i have helped you.

Cheers :D

I broke 300 with a few cars today i know I can do more with the GTone and the Nissan '92. But the Mclaren is basicly as fast as i can get it to go. I think It is the fastest so far but I dont know for sure. I also broke my previouse record with the CLK-GTR.

hmm....well for me its pretty simple. i have a minolta toyota.
ride height: front max/ rear lowest
final gear ratio: lowest
nos: max power
downforce: front minimum/rear max

thats all i did and i got 333 mph simple. i not much of a fine tuner but this only took a couple different try at the settings

hi

im wondering you guys are doing these speeds by doing wheely's are you....cuz im doing my speed with track settings i think i might try "your way of doing topspeed"
umm...dude we dont use the wheelie. if we do it doesnt count and it doesnt make it onto the leaderboard. we just tune our car and adjust the settings

My suggestion for tuning any car is to start off by buying all of the best parts avalible to the car. Then set NOS to the highest setting.Next lower every setting on the suspension controlling thing to the lowest exept on the ride height like lazyslacker700 said. Then do this to the downforce: front minimum/rear max. Then put on ssupersoft racing tires. Now o to the transmission. Put auto to 25. And every setting fron 1st gear all the way down to fianl on the lowest setting. I did that and i got 351.xx out of the GT-1.

Please excuse my spelling.
