I suspect he is refering to MusclecarChhris who posted four messages in a row Jan 21 2007, 1:45 PM - 1:54 PM, then triple posted at 3:23, 3:24, 3:25 PM.
Correct. The amount of times I've had to say this has started to get to me, it seems...
Sorry if I was a bit short there, but having to repeat things like that, which are basic forum rules, makes me weary. :indiff:

FormulaGT
*mutters in disbelief* Yeah,..., it's a three all right..
 :sly:

The Leaderboard server is alive at the moment, so I shall take advantage of this quickly to say well done again to GT_Jim and GuitarJC13. Congratulations once more to GT_Jim for pushing the Nardo 'into the zone' ;)
And, hello to Supercar_Killer - good to see you posting up a speed with an unusual first car 👍

Leaderboard Updated

I'm beginning think something may be suspect of the Toyota 7 speed of all those months ago. Something doesn't sit right, as I took the car out after buying a new one and simply cannot get it up to 300. I'll keep you guys posted with what I find out.

See if you can get enough improvement to change the numberplate in your avatar to 330mph ;)

Hmmmm... How easily does the car wheelie, Toronado?

Well I tried too, but i cannot get the Toyota 7 over 300. Even with the wheelie trick. :ouch: :grumpy:

here are no wheelies allowed GT_Jim, i hope that your previous speeds weren't with wheelie. otherwise they'll be not counted for the leaderboard!

No, I meant I couldn't get it over 300 mph normally. I couldn't with the wheelie either. ;) :)

alright, sorry for my over-reaction.........but there are so much new people here that want to get in the club with wheelieing. no hard feelings man! 👍

viper

No problem man! Well, with the wheelie i hit 353, but i didn;t say it :D
The TS020 (in the photo i posted) is the black version. I don't know if it's better of worse than the normal. I have collected 5,000,000 and bought the normal ts020, but haven't tried it yet

actually, gt jim, the black one has about 57 horsepower less than the normal one, i have both of them tuned the same way. currently, my normal gt one hasa top of 350.0something, and i have the evidence to prove it. and my lack one has gone through igorous transmission tuning to get it topped out at around 346-347. i suspect now it might be in other settings. ive fixed the downforce problems by maxing out both settings, ive fine tuned all but the first two gears in it, and that increased the speed by about 5 mph.:) maybe the suspension. anyone here with a toyota gt one that goes over 360 want to give me some advice? i need help.:grumpy:
i gave up on the normal gt one, cause i tuned the black one after i had it set like the 350 mph normal version, so i thought if i took the black ones new settings and applied them to the one that goes faster, it would go even faster. but, it deceased the speed to 344. and i dont remember the original settings :irked: 🤬 :banghead: :ouch:

btw, sorry for the multiple posts.

About time you changed your sig, then, Crimson - at last you can tell us your XJ220 goes 301mph :D

Well done on your other speeds, too 👍 particularly the Pescarolo... Damn thing... :dopey:

You will indeed be on the Leaderboard once I can get an update done, hms90832, nice work. Once again the server is messing with me...

For sure, thanks, and good luck with the server. That thing seems to have an attitude problem.:ouch:

oh, and, whoever has the black gt-one, i think gt jim, anyway, be careful, every five or so laps around the practice course and the oil somehow goes all to hell. i noticed that after about ten times on the practice course, my horsepower was steaily dropping, first by one, then by 4 more, and i couldnt find out why, so i went to get a refresher plan and oil change. it hadnt been driven enough to need to be refreshed again, but the oil did the trick, it brought it back up to 1101 horsepower :D good luck everyone. btw, off topic, but i just found an awesome dirt car, the mercury cougar!

heres a pic of my beluved black GT one :D

ill have the speed pics up soon, gotta get this camera to work.

Could you have driven the car your top speed, gone to take that photo, and then driven it at your top speed again without changing any car settings?

DE

i havent changed the settings. why?

The lack of ride height in the front of that car would make for a very difficult run at 300mph. Even with full frontal-downforce, it'd be a challenge to keep a decent line, and to keep from bouncing off the barrier leading into the back straight.

Perhaps, try adjusting the front ride height to the maximum. I bet things would go a little smoother for you.

Basically, to sum things up, it works like this:

High front - wheelie. No control.
Low front - slower. Full control.

You gotta get somewhere in between - high enough for some serious speed but low enough to avoid wheelie. Downforce plays a role as well.
