Yeah, as long as it's not broken or anything, I'd jump on it.I figured that but I wanted a second opinion.
Where is this being sold?I've found one (semi)-local for $240 and I already have a DFGT; would the wheel be worth it?

Find out their return/defective policy, take it home put FFB on 10 and give it a good whipping for a couple hours, if everything is fine and holds up for a couple hours all is good.A Second and Charles in Hoover. I've found alot of things there actually, the Fallout 3 special edition (sealed; the game still had "don't sell before street date" on it) for 30 dollars; I also found the NV one for 40, but I didn't have the cash that day
Its used, but I'm not sure if it actually works or what; it was in the box so.... I don't think I'll be in the area for a little while, but its been there for at least two weeks.
This is a very nice e-brake for the pc. http://www.derekspearedesigns.com/handbrake.htmlI payed over 600 for mine and had to send it back 3 times for faulty parts. I bought mine as soon as it became available and after the headache of getting it fixed (Their Customer Service is garbage) it has been an amazing wheel after waiting 5 months to use it for the first time. I've owned several wheels everything from Logitec an CSR to other Thrustmasters and more and this is by far my favorite wheel. I had the optional F1 Wheel and ended up selling it to my cousin because i just didn't use it enough. The T500RS is by far the best wheel i've owned imo. I still have a g27 that i use more for GT. But i play on PC alot so i like using my T500 RS with th8 shifter for online. At 240 not getting the wheel would be a mistake mine cost me almost 700 with taxes and shipping fees an even though i hated it for the first 5 months i'm glad i didn't just scrap it. i hope they upgrade it and offer a functional e-brake device as i'm trying to figure out how-to diy. I'm good with most things mechanical but electronics make me so nervous so i don't want to gut it to rewire one of the buttons to sense that i'm pulling the e-brake.
Thanks for the tip i really like it and might just have to buy one tonight. This is a very nice e-brake for the pc. http://www.derekspearedesigns.com/handbrake.html

I get why it's so expensive, being hydraulic and all, but I sure wouldn't mind a spring tensioned cheaper one.I dearly love Derek and all the great stuff he creates, but for that price it had BETTER come with some attachments for personal pleasure . . . or something like that. Otherwise, that's a LOT of money for an add-on device that just does one thing.
