How long has that one been out for? Is that the one I had, hated and sold? You're gaggin' if you think online will work between 2 Australians, let alone anyone else. Your best hope is the occasional match against Americans, that seems to be the only players mr_VOLCANO and I could ever match with.

If it's a new version though, then for your sake I hope online connections are vastly improved. I also hope you never play Ace_of_Clubs21 or something like that his name was, he was rediculous, better at golf than Timppaq or Dan is at racing, he shot under 30 for 18 holes when I played him.

Edit: It was 2009 I had, so I stand by my 2nd paragraph.

If it wasnt for EA selling lots of stuff on ps store that should have bin free and the bad internett servers, then I might concider bying it.

I wish a company who isnt just thinking money will make a good golf game. Heard the Wii edition is great with motion plus though..

To be fair all the stuff on the PS Store ( apart from the courses ) are available to unlock in the game aswell, ( by actually playing it ) it even says so in the discription, if anyone bothered to read it.

Using the PS Store to charge people for unlocks is just the same as those cheat lines which have been around for ages, they are both rip offs. If anyone is stupid enough to pay to unlock everything or anything for that matter, they need their heads seeing too.

Anyway I am not really into golf and don't intend on getting Tiger Woods 10, so this doesn't effect me in the slightest, so I'll leave it there.

Yes i have gone online, & in my opinion its better than tiger 09. A lot of changes in the game itself, bigger crouds, new putting system, Live weather effects, Live online tournaments & a variety of online game modes. So i'll rate it 9/10. worth getting.

Did you ever try Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds? I find it to be really fun... DLC is kinda expensive though, at $5 per course.

Welp im playing now, and I have to say, its 100x harder then TWPGA03, much more realistic, and im loving it! Having a great time, Even on my first 18 at Sawgrass, which if you ask me, is pretty good for my first round!

I edited due to the fact that i was +6 coming into the back 9 when i posted, made up those 6 storkes on the back nine! I was so impressed by myself! Obtained 2 trophy balls a boat load of cash and 3 trophys!

So do they still have that "active skills" crap or what ever it was called? That really ticked me off in 09 too, I'm very much a bomb and gouge player but in 09 the bombers would pay for their adventures in the rough by having their power decreased. So there is a demo of it on PSN?

Yes there is a demo of it on the PSN, I have had it for a while now and still haven't tried it out. Probably because I never intended on getting the full game. I am always downloading things I never try/use, just because they are there really.

Edit:- I just looked, it's 1757mb, I think I will try it later and then delete it, that is a lot of wasted space right now.

I see you're from Norway. The European name is Everybody's Golf: World Tour (playing online isn't version-restricted). There's a demo for it on the UK and US PS store, but don't know about the norweigan store. The demo will seem pretty standard, but once you start playing it more and getting the knack of special shots and stuff, you'll see that while it is cartoony, it's also a great deal of fun, specially in match play and stroke games, where you can see everything your opponents do, from switching camera angles and shot direction, to actually making the shot. You realize the amazingness of the game once you actually start playing the full version.

It has 6 courses, a training driving range and two downloadable courses at $5.99.

I have '08 and play the living h*** out of it,love that game.The game is completed,(twice),so I am considering getting '10 when we get back from vacation.Once I get it going descent,I'll join up with you for some on-line rounds.

Have any of you guys actually won a Pro Round in the calander? I tried with my character and finished 30th... lol, So im working on upping his skills by playing stroke play matches against the computer and doing all the little mini rounds after each game to get my skills high before trying that again.

++ I tried playing last night online, everyones got maxed out stats, im like, halfway lol so I didnt even try. Hopefully soon!

Australian connections are horrible! And are you serious that they've already expected people to download and pay for new courses? That's pathetic. If it to YOU one hour to download a single course, it'd take me 3hrs to DL a course, and therefore all day to DL the demo. Did you ever tell me if they still have that "dynamic skills" thing where your skill drops if you miss fairways and GIRs and what not?

Not realy, it should only take 2 to 4 hours to download the demo & Yes all that dynamic stuff is there, but if you earn 5 million dollars on tour you can bye special suit witch gives you max stats. that will all stay at 12 , even if you have a terrible round.

Special suits are rediculous, they look stupid, I want to look like a real golfer. EA have fooled me twice already with 08 and 09, 10 doesn't sound any better so I'll be steering well clear thanks, and sorry.

I just ordered the Wii version. MotionPlus really seem to deliver getting spectacular reviews like how can you improve over this without playing real golf

Hopefully PS 3s magic wands will be able to deliver the same precision as well in PGA tour 11
