I've been told that Time Splitters 2 for PS2 doesn't have online play, but Time Splitters 2 for XBox is going to have / does have support for XBox Live. Anybody have referances on this?

Timesplitters 2 made me so dizzy i had to sit down for half an hour  Seriously, it did!

It's a great game to be sure. The PS2 was the only version that was to be online, but they scrapped support because it wasn't native to the game engine. The Xbox (and Ps2) might be able to play online through the use of some software like Gamespy's tunnel.
As of right now though, none of the versions are online.

So none of them are multiplayer? That's just stupid! It's a first person shooter. I mean, we all like our story mode, but being able to blow the brains out of some guy you don't even know is AWESEOME! (:

Apparently unless Multiplayer is built into the game engine from the ground up it just hurts the way the game runs on a console because of the nature of a console's finite technical dimensions.
Other games I think they would have slapped it in, but Timesplitters 2 was of such quality I think that Free Radical made the right decision instead of doing something halfway. Plus they get to earn money off it when the next one comes out with online play (like Twisted Metal Black:embarrassed:nline)

Id rather not, I prefer to blow the brains out of some guy who is sitting next to me so I can gloat at him.

Get 2 copies a firewire cable and 7 friends and you will forget about the lack of internet play.

Yeah, i-link is a blast with TS2. There should be a lot more i-link games. I did just play some ATV Offroad Fury 2 yesterday with the i-limk, that was also cool.
