Yeah, it was funny - in a sad sort of way. However, I think that the way a lot of people perceive us North Americans (and why they might just dislike us) - spoiled, dumb, and with all the resources in the world to back us up - was served a good example there with the V8 chainsaw.
A serious brick in the face of levity, but the correlation struck me, if nobody else. I apologize.
