This was the Olympic one, so 0.8% in 1.5% as that was the gold threshold

I usually struggle getting silver but this one was either easy or the car itself drives like a dream cause getting gold was rather a pleasure

It's because those top two times by the Japanese guys are beyond insane! 7:29?? 2 seconds ahead of @Metalgear9493 ?? Crazy.

That skews the "% behind" stats quite a bit and sets the Gold bar significantly higher that it otherwise would be

Great time for my PS4 to decide to **** the bed. Tried to turn it on late last night to see if I could grab a gold at Brands Hatch and I get nothing but a black screen. Did all the usuals and tried again this morning. Same thing. Noooo.... Need to get back to the Nordschliefe and convert that bronze to a silver!!!

Scratch that! We have action!!! I shall be on to work on that silver time later today!!!

Enjoy the ghost guys! I spent quite a bit of time on this one over 3 sessions, totalling 100 miles worth. Happy with the time I've arrived at. Weak ABS used.

I see that lately the indication of ABS used of popping up quite frequently.
Is it really important or it's more a second order effect?
How do you determine if to use default vs weak? Just test them both or depending on car, track, car+track?

but indeed, let's be honest, the Ring is just a phenomenal and insane road/track/toll-thing, and when you look at that image it realy shows it size...

You have a lot of skills, but definitely not the skill of "slamming it at the first corner," which I do.

With that perk equipped all the tracks look a little bit the same

Looks like I've missed a few pages, but Day 2 at The Ring yielded promising results.

Optimal is still a little short of Gold, but I'm 9 seconds up from Day 1.

No restarts today, but only one valid lap.

Forgot to do a screenshot, but I am down to 7:43.4 at the Ring, so less than a second away from gold. I (almost) wish it were 5 seconds so I could let it go

I'm sure this is the better approach. I restart all the time and consequently I have practiced the first half way more often than the second. But the problem is that when I invalidate a lap by going off the track, I am almost guaranteed to keep messing up afterwards, probably due to dirty tyres, so I restart. Does anyone know how this mechanic works? Like, how long it takes for the effect to wear off?

Kind of hit a wall at the Ring. Way too many mistakes to improve my time. Gonna try on the weekend again while watching the 24h Race 😅


Was a bit disappointed, that the new one was not the NSX but still fun. Did a couple of laps without a ghost an was at 2.8% or something.

Loaded @Metalgear9493 s ghost (thanks again for always sharing 😉) and 2 laps later shaved of another .3s.

Made it into the top 10 and my potential definitely could get rank 1 but it's very hard to nail the perfect lap here in my opinion! Even so the guide is here if you are struggling! Fair few accelerating markers that may help!

I can't even find a results chart now to see if it registered 😭

If it's easy I'll give it a shot. I don't really want to put a lot of time into this game nowadays, but I want to keep getting the 2 mil credits to buy the new cars they add in the updates.

It is a toughie. Thank goodness this is not a 1.5% one else my gold streak would definitely be gone. I'm barely in gold and don't if I can be bothered to find more time.

So,i missed last Thursday's post,shame on me,for those following along at home ,it was a gold,😂...and gold again this week,giving me 62-G 19-S 0-B, but unless i pull a rabbit out of the hat,next week will see Silver #20....a full 5 seconds out at the long track.....as for the new TT,in for now,....should be able to drop that a bit more ,if needed...

As expected it's identical to the previous trial here with the Civic but less power, cant realy see myself grinding this out, it's fun for a few laps but the lack of rotation cramps up my right hand.... 🤣,....

ill try it now and then but I think this is a missed opportunity and this isn't O-600 alarm clock worthy 🫡

shorter laps in slow car just tend to be easier. I dont really like the Comfort medium tires.

I once owned an Imported Si-R in the states in the mid 2000s. Yes before the 25 year rule, I broke alot of laws to have that car. and I assure you even my 400tw Kumbos that would last 40K+ miles the car griped gripped better than this.

but is remarkable how close the TT times are coming to Best Motoring time (albeit set with others cars)
