time trials

to beat the time trials, do i need to get first in all of them? or will it count if i just get into the top 3 like the licenses?
 
if you beat the time trials i belive you get the panoz car, and you have to beat them, its not like the licenses
 
Yep, you gotta get first place, dude. Sucks, huh? The Tahiti Maze one was the biggest problem for me. I'm not great with the rally portion of GT3.

Just keep at it. I have found that for some strange reason your cars run quicker the closer you get to the winning time, so keep at it until you get 1st place.
 
well ive been getting first in most of them, i think all i need still is both rallys and the complex string... ugh *shudder* havent even tried tahiti maze or complex string, only tried swiss alps rally once or twice...
 
the swiss alps one isnt so bad if you watch the demo. i tried it a few times and was off by like 4 seconds watched the demo and got it within 5 tries. now the tahiti maze is different that one took me 2 controllers and a week.
 
i dont think im ever gonna get complex string, i tried it like 10 times, only finished once, and i was like 8 seconds above the time on the one time i finished...
 
You'll get there. Do a search for Time Trials on this board and you'll find lots of threads on them.

I found 10 easier than 8 & 9. I hate those rally ones.:mad:
