Alright.. The Tire Damage Meter are the 4 Blue things like

[]
and they change to red to show how hot your tires are, and as they get redder you get less traction, you can buy tires that last for a long time at the car dealer.

Red Numbers: This will tell you which gear to get into for the upcoming corner. When it starts flashing, go to that gear. This meter helps you get going the appropriate speed to take the corner.

3rd Smaller Meter: This is for the power out put of the engine (I think). This meter is not present on all vehicles. This meter goes up and down depending on how hard you push the X button.

the third meter shows how much turbo boost you are getting in a car, the lighter you press X, the less turbo boost your car is getting. In real life, it takes a while for the turbo to kick in(turbo lag), but the only car in GT3 that has turbo lag is the escudo.

That little red number suggesting gears does just that...*suggests* them...it isn't always terribly accurate, particularly in very high-powered cars or after extensive tire wear in appropriate races, and some cars have such a narrow powerband, that you have to be VERY careful with them, or try using an auto-tranny with them.... :)

I thought the beginning of the Red Line was just the point before the Engine would begin to fall to pieces in a real car Samurai :D

Let me rephrase that.... :D

What I meant to say was that on cars in the game with narrow powerbands, low hp, or both, during the downshift, you may lose more rpm's than you'd like, resulting in longer rev-up times, and we all know even a hundredth of a second can mean the difference between 1st and 2nd.... :)

Some ways to fix this would be tighter gear ratios, and any gearing mods you can attach to your car; triple clutches are great for this.... :)
