**To cheat or not to cheat?**

Ok so who are the cheaters round here?

I confess to in GTA3 but Am gonna stay clean in VC

GTA3 sure, it got kinda boring to me without the cheats.

Well, must confess to using the great handling cars cheat for some of the offroad missions in GTA3. What a sad loser I am. Ho hum. Now that I see how to do them, I might be able to do it without the cheat, but I got so p!$$ed off with falling off the ledge under Salvatore's gaff for the last but 2 checkpoint.

When you cheat in VC, when you save it says "We recommend not saving your game because it might get (corrupted)" Or something like thaat. So I didnt save, anyways, does anyone know what they might be talking about? Is there some way it could ruin your memory card or would they be reffering to something that they added into the game to punish cheaters?

Not untill i finish the main missions, i think it ruins it.

i used the weapons cheat and the car handling cheat. its cool to go flat **** down the road in a stinger and then bounce over 5 cars in a row.

Yer. It rules so great! Love that bouncing in the car over all the cars. great for getting away from the cops...

12sec, I think what that message is saying is that if you save your game after putting in a cheat, the game will save that cheat (or cheats). So everytime you load up that save, the cheat (or cheats) will be in effect. This is not good if you want to play the game the normal way. I seem to remember a lot of complaints about this from people who did this in GTA3.

my sister put the Rampage cheat on in GTA3 where everyone fights....she ended up restarting the game :cd:

Well I guess they've got to punish the cheats somehow?

well, to play the storyline i don`t use cheats because it ruins your stats and it isn`t really fun.
but if you finished the game and it begins to get boring u can use cheats to have some x-tra fun.

in my game i have an x-tra saved game with some money where i can cheat that hotringracers to make vice city to a big racetrack

If you want to cheat that is your own business. But I prefer not to cheat.

I habe about 3-4 game saves. They're all for different things, like if I found a mission more fun than others(like driving drunk, if you don't know yet, you'll find out, I'm not going to spoil it for you, so yeah, you'd better thank me)

Pretty soon I'll probably start using the packages maps, but I'm holding off until after Christmas
