Not anymore...one gift per PS3 per day.
Oh my bad that sucks.
Not anymore...one gift per PS3 per day.
What do you mean one trade per day per machine. If you have 6 psn's you can gift 6 cars per day.
Here you go.

You know, sadly there are fewer and fewer reasons to come here every day. Maybe it would help if there was a GT5 Complaining board for ALL the complainers to flock to and grouch every day to each other.Yes you throw around the totally unrelated comparisons and the fanboy naming! Very mature, i hope you instate these lessons onto your son, set a fine example.
But the reason for this patch is because of dupers. It was an exploit PD didn't like, so now people who want to gift/trade also have to suffer.
Thank you PD for the last update v1.07 especially for Cars worth over 1,000,000 Cr. (including gift car coupons) are now prohibited from being "GIFTED".
Thank you very much 👍
And when the game was delayed for months and months you whinged and you whined. When the game was released, you whinged and you whined some more. Are you never pleased?

No one is complaining that duping has been slowed down, people are complaining because it limits the people who are doing legit trades. Seriously why the hell didn't PD implement some sort of actual trading system in GT5? Like I love the GT series, I've been a fan since I could remember but some of the oversights made by PD are just plain retarded, there is literally no other word for it. GT 5 is still pretty fun to play at least.People are shocked that before 1.07, people complained about duping, and then post 1.07 people complain that duping has been slowed down.

Of course that would never work, because misery loves making happy miserable, and they wouldn't stay in their little room.![]()
Something that these posts never take into account:
Is what you typed even true?
Did the starter of this topic complain about GT5 not being released early enough, or was that a completely different set of people that you are now assuming includes the starter of the topic?
People are shocked that before 1.07, people complained about duping, and then post 1.07 people complain that duping has been slowed down. What if each opinion belongs to entirely separate groups of people?
Either case, even if this person complained that GT5 was taking too long, I think he has every right to turn around and complain that it feels rushed. PD had more than enough time to fix many of GT5's issues. GT5 should have been here sooner and better.
Until PD actually explains what took so long, I'm sticking to that.
I think it's a shame that the game was so broken that it needs all these patches to get a solid game out of it. Patches and updates are different. Patches are for bugs and glitches, updates are to make an existing game better. This game needs both. A lot of people call it whinning or complaining, but this is a forum, where you can discuss, analyze, seek help, find answers, make friends and above all else join the community. I see these as Opinions, and everyone has a right to view their point, and not come under attack because one disagree's with another. The biggest problem with GT5 is it has no identity. Kaz wants to give us his vision, but at his dispair. Take the Ferrari F1's for instance. This is Ferraris' first go in a complete GT game. So instead of giving us a Ferrari F1 challenge or at least some usability we only get to practice with them. Until recently the Seasonal Events. To make it worse, we get Polyphony Digitals version of a F1 car, thats usable just about everywhere and a FGt series. The game restricts you so much that I think it's one of the reasons people are upset. You cannot make everyone happy, but this game needs more options when it comes to gameplay. The whole gifting thing is broken from the begining. I personaly don't care, but they limit you to only $20 mil in credits. Then to get to that amount is rediculous, to only have cars cost that much? You work for well over a month or more to get the money to have it go in one shot? Then you buy your 20 mil car and realize, since you can't test drive before you buy, that you just wasted your money (The Saleen S7 comes to mind) on a car that either handles badly or you just don't like. I've been playing Forza 3 and it's just put together better and you can almost do what you want in the game. We need rules for online because, for the life of me some people think its cool to cheat, but offline I should be able to do whatever I like to do. With GT5, In my Opinion, you can't.
And when the game was delayed for months and months you whinged and you whined. When the game was released, you whinged and you whined some more. Are you never pleased?
The fact of the matter is if your son needs to drive one of your cars, he can borrow it as long as you set it to online and vice versa.
It's to stop people duping cars on many accounts and just taking advantage of the system.
I think it's a good thing. And the game is more than half finished.
But I'll agree more needs to be added, but we're getting there.
I feel more sorry for my friends who don't have the internet and are playing the original version of GT5.
Seriously though. Have you tried playing bubbles? Level 70 needs a patch.
it is what PD needs to do, the problem doesnt rely on the value of the car being traded, cause lets face it after 4 months of duping no car can really have a value. but i want/hope to believe that this is PD's way of telling people they dont like everyone abusing the system, and making copies of cars and giving them away example the x2010 supposed to be hard to get, a prize, a trophy now its not worth anything, everyone has one and no one worked to get it. i guess what im saying is that the 1 million credit limit is hopefully a temporary stop to the duping until they can implement a system that stops duping all together. then we should hopefully see no limits, and trading will be indeed *trading* one car for one car no duping. time shall tell.hey guys.
I'm a software developer and this thing about duplicate cars and trading bothers me but the solution they found bothers me even most.
here is my solution:
Let's suppose I'm starting the game today.First time I save it, it would create an integer value on my PS3 and on the save file.
Every time I save this value would be incremented.
If I backup my save and then I give a car it will save automatically right.
So when I try to run the previous save it wouldn't run cause the integer associated to the game is different then the one associated with the saving file.
get it PD or do I need to make a draw?
Well said. 👍
