simple....they got there cars through hard work and somebody just gets theirs through duplicate from others....

its like you didn't sleep studying for a test but somebody got the highest score just by cheating.....

Yea. Love me some birds too. I personally get a kick out of playing the sound effects over the stereo I'm my car via the iPod connect
 
Please be civil to each other. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and you may counter that. We don't tolerate attacking the person. If this continues we will need to come back in here and perhaps even close this thread. We prefer to keep it open but you need to play by the rules. 👍

So you feel that this is the game you saw in the trailers, with a nice intro on a 500 daytona race that isnt in... Even they advertized it?? So are tracks we never got in game?? You are happy of what you got?? Honestly compare the content to gt4 now look at gt5 and tell me there is nothing missing and gt5 is a milestone compared to gt4?? Remember the time needed to code gt4?? Yess it were 6 years sure. Comeone be real.

I had never actually said I was 100% completly and utterly pleased with the game. Yes, It is a major step up from GT4. Yes it is missing pieces. But I am happy with what it has, The course maker could be better, but Im glad we have something of the sort. Painting cars is a bit restricted, but again, Im happy with whats there. Im happy for them to have taken 6 years to make it, I didnt have the money to buy it anyway but I got it as a birthday present. I knew it was going to be full of bugs, glitches and missing pieces, but I still play it, happy with what I got. Im not going to sit around these forums all day and complain that Kaz could have done better. I am going to sit here, pleased with the game I have. If they want to add parts to the game, or change parts or fix parts via updates, Im ok with that. I knew the game wasnt going to be perfect so I dont care if they have to constantly update the game with new additions/fixes, as long as they dont stop me from racing, I couldnt care less.

The only people complaining are those who are mad cos they cannot any longer trade a zillion X1's they spent all of 5 mins duping.

I just read the GT5 instruction manual and couldn't find the section on trading anywhere, in fact I don't think there should even be a "marketplace" section on these forums.

Well I'm complaining, and I've never traded an X1 (either way) so that blows that theory out of the water.


ETA: Why do people assume that the limit is to stop duping when it doesn't, it just slows it down. What it does do is stop people selling cars on eBay.

To be honest I don't even see that as a real problem, who cares if someone is stupid enough to pay money for a car you can get free?
 
Once again...

Link the car level to a race level. Make it so you can only use the X2010 on say, a level 30 or 40 race. People will then have to do the work required to get the car and no one is running an X2010 in the Sunday cup (which is hilarious on B-Spec, btw), and no one has a real reason to cheat. There's no real reason then TO dupe the real high end cars and everyone is happy (yeah, right...). Then you could trade cars all day long but if you haven't put in the effort, it will do you no good.

How is this not a common sense solution? Why did PD not do this? Oh, I forgot; it's PD...
