It should do... but most of the cars will be race cars.

All previous ToCa installments have done.

Yep I agree.

And Mr. Boy, I think Codemasters confired theres going to be no road cars in the game at al this time around.

What are your PC specs?

As a gaming PC, its crap. 2.2 GHZ Pentium 4 CPU, 256MB RAM, an outdated graphics card that supports DirectX 6.0 (yep, that's right, SIX!), and I have DirectX 9.0C installed.

PS2 version for me. hey. btw, what do you guys think if codemaster delay Toca2006 a litle bit and release it on PS3, that would be awsome imo.

Ideally I'd like a PS2 release, with a revised and expanded PS3 edition to follow.

Anyone agree?

it's not crap at all, you got a decent CPU right there buddy, just make it to 512 ir 1G MB of ram, get a new graphic card (Ati radeon 9800 Pro is a good choice, since I am sure that your PC doesn't have a PCI Express slot) and i think you're good to go.

Thanks for posting the higher resolution trailer KENJIusa.

This game does look amazing but I am expecting more from this game than just the addition of more racing types, cars, and tracks. Here are the things that Codemasters must deliver to make this game truely stand out.

1) 16:9 Widescreen
2) Progressive Scan (480p) Resolution
3) A Rearview Mirror!!!

I guess I can live without the progressive scan but I think that by now Widescreen support and a true rearview mirror should be standard in racing games.

I really wonder how the physic will be like, I hope it will be as good as EPR's (even though I've never played EPR, but from what the fellows in EPR forum say, I know it's pretty darn good) i also hope they change the rally, the rally wasn't very good in Toca 2.

the rallying was downright goofy in Toca 2. haha. And EPR is the best handling sim for consoles. yes. better than GT4 and Forza. Provided you have a DFP.

if toca 3 has physics anywhere as satisfying as EPR's matched with it's hefty amount of racing types and tracks and all the things we've grown to love with the toca series...I'm going to faint from excitement.

You got that right! The first time I got to a rally stage in Toca 2 I was thinking "OK, this should be just like playing Colin McRae 3!" Oh boy, was I wrong. You would think that the developers of Toca 2 would have at least played Colin McRae rally. I hope that the rally racing is fixed in Toca 2.

IMO I think they have a rpoblem including rallying, because they won't want tomake it better than the rallying in Colin Mcrae, image what that could do to Colin Mcrae sales if the rallying in RD3 was better.

Jack of all trades, master of them all, as it were.

this is the game ive been dreaming of. Loads of motorsport disciplines, proper race rules per discipline, the pro driver mode, the story mode, dammit i want this game so bad.

EDIT: And now ive watched the trailer im going to the codemasters building and stealing the latest code.

Theres no street cars in RD3, zero, zilch, nada. It's racing simulator and they figutred it'd be better to focus on race cars but expand the racing diciplines rather than include road cars. Tbh I agree, theres enough racers that try to include plenty of both and get neither right.

Pleeease let it have more street cars and better physics...

Dude, the physics will be better, just go to the official site and have a read, and as for street cars? man, Toca RACE DRIVER! not TOCA WE R TEH UNDERGROUNDERS!.

Like Liv4speed said, its focussing on pure racing, motorsports, not street racing, though Race driver 2 had a form of street racing, it was still more motorpsort oriented.

I'm sorry, I didn't know you guys consider racing street cars on tracks "street racing". Seriously, I didn't know and I apologize.

I guess I got a little carried away when I saw those "amost street" cars from Toca 2.

It's nothing to be sorry about, basically racing street cars around a track is not professional motorsport, RD3 is forcusing on the different tiers and levels of professional motorpost thats all.
