I've got it, but.
a) My PS2 controller is messed up to the point of being impossible to play without messing up the gears on every car.
b) I'm too lazy to set up my steering wheel.

But yeah from what i've played with a partially working controller seems pretty damn good.

Two things that piss me off are the autosaving that you can't turn off and the fact that they still think the game needs some sort of story. Although it's almost a carbon copy of RD2's one.

Played more of the game last night and started a World Tour. Damn this game is fun!

This game has surpassed my expectations Very very enjoyable, and it has more than just 3 kart tracks, it use smaller variations of existing tracks as well which is great! Very good game.

Can you tell us more about it? Did you drive the monster truck yet? How about the rally parts?

Got to play it some more today...

Heres what i think:

Rally is more difficult than track racing, to me at least. I can easily overtake on track but rallying is difficult.

And yes, I did drive the monster trucks. They are not nice to drive, but can do wheelies tho.

Conclusion(for the time being) I really dun like rallying especially rallycross or dirtracing. The normal single car rally is fine tho. No AI to bother me.


When playing, always remember that your brakes are your friends. Late braking rules.👍

The rallying is very enjoyable, i had a go of the Alpine classic thing (first one in classics) and the UK rally stages are brilliant. At the moment im 2 races into the Autosport clio cup in touring cars, and it is fantasticly good fun! Very close racing.

Yeah, I've been on it for a few hours now, it's very good, the whole game is very good. I could be better at it, I've doing the WT mode on Hard and I'm not finding it too difficult, it's moer a case of keeping my car in one piece (literally) than actually beating the competition. I've just won the US Muscle car races in the WT mode, the qualifying in them was a *****, all the time I kept getting the "off the track advantage" played, I kept thinking, "how's spining off the track into a wall and bouncing back on giving my an advantage" , but I got there in the end. Top game so far, I'm off to do some go-kart racing.

I just got the game this morning as well, and so far i'm really impressed. The rallying is a lot harder though, but at least it's better than GT4

Those of you that have the game, consider yourself lucky. For some reason my EB games store still doesnt have this in yet for the xbox. That is very rare that I dont have the game from them when the site sais it will be in. Oh well I will try again tomorrow. Heather and I will probably be playing Yuris revenge on our PC's anyway.

I've been enjoying the earlier competitions a lot, I've not got far yet, I'm still under 10% complete, the game is BIG, not GT4 big but it could last as long, maybe longer with the online.

Just rented it (Because stupid EB doesn't have it) and so far I'm really impressed. So much racing discipline, a lot of cars, tough, but just enough so you don't get frustrated (I'm doing BAJA right now.).

I think i'm only at tier 7 right now.

I cleared the Karts last night, im racing on half length races, 10-12 laps for the Formula Fords then, they have good grip compared to the slippy Karts. Still cant handle the Turnham Sandframe for ****!

It really is very good. I'm currently on a championship where you race BMW's with motorcycle engines, or something like taht. They look like F1 cars.

Have you tried the Honda section?

The lawnmowers and Ariel Atoms are great.

I'm going to win the wourld tour mode to unlock that rather than jump right in, gives me something extra to work for.
