Well, I've hada fair time now...
And me and AI havn't really been getting on, always on my friggin quarter panels, then spnning me out, and becasue im using pro sim damage knocking me out. The V8's are exceptionally guilty of this.

Other than that 👍 Currently on Tier 28 I think, I can't drive the Williams Cars for my life., so ill try to avoid those in WT.
Umm.. IRL is alot of fun, especially at Indanapolis

The cars are much much more controllable this time for sure and don't feel like tanks. The DTM is definatly more improved

The XBox version was delayed because of a cover insert error.
It was only a few days, though.

Thank you for the heads up. All the game stores are probably tired of me calling every few hours to see if it came in yet.

so.... erm..... whens RD4 coming out with brain synapse support to put you into the game? lol

I can't get enough of this game, tried the Palmer Caterhams last night, nippy little bastids they are! lol

Well, the Formula 1000s were dissappointing, way to easy, qualifyed between 6 and 12 seconds ahead everytime, onto the Formula BMWs and its much harder so thank god its only one!

Formula 1000 are definatly fun to throw around Donington...
Anyway time to go do the GT Tuning Cup, That Modified Lambo is definatly a bit twitchy

.. I just drove in a straight line and got spun out

Well, I'm actually a bit dissappointed- it's too easy.

Also, smash the doors off a car and the interior is just black...

weeeeeeeeeee........

drop down a gear, cruisin through the turn and BAM! Hit the gas and you ride off into the horizon. Either that or you start to drift, or too far and ya spin. Love a no nonsense game!

Dont know if anyone's done this yet, I have not went very far back to look...
Post up your online name for TRD3
Just curious to see if i have raced anyone on here yet..lol

Mine is GTkid1977 (ps-2 version) and I'm usually in the back of the field.. :(

Hopefully I'm picking this game up tomorrow. It's killing me not having it.

Also been driving Cats yesterday and it was a freakin festival :D.

Insane little car, unrealistic in sliding but fun to drive. Managed to win the championship but with lots of retrys - the last Zandevoort Short track has taken time to master with jumpin' into corners in high gears :). Great fun.

Then picked up British GT and now I'm stucked with Marcos on Donnington. Have to practice some serious tune-ups in setting for the first time since that bstard is no-go whatsoever.

Dude I did the Marcos one last night to, and was disappointed in the cars performance. I love the Marcos cars in terms of their looks but damn it was a struggle to stay ahead of the pack.

and have you all tried the 1930s Mercedes???? Those things drift so well!

Caterhams online is so much fun its unbelievable, in fact I can't think of any cars online that arent fun - theyre all SO much fun compared to GT4s "every car will understeer". My online name is CHELSEA>BARCA.

Haven't got as far in single player because of online, but what I found surprisingly fun in sp was oval racing (I hate watching it on TV), especially in those trucks.

BTW-does anyone know if its possible to use the Clio V6s on tracks, as they're one of my fav cars in GT4 and they handle so well in the rallycrosses??

People underestimate oval racing because they think its just going round in circles, but its all about skill and slipstreaming as all the trucks/cars are so equal. I love oval racing. 👍

Yup, i think in the touring cars theres a Clio V6 championship.

Im on the Formula BMWs at the moment, was having a great race at Oschersleben but then i went off and rejoined the track, got rear ended and given a drive through penalty about 8 laps in, what a bummer that was. Onto the Norisring.

What a race at Zandvoort! I saw the leader and 2nd place tangle with eachother and the leaders car rolled over at the chicane, and on lap 13, i had a rear tyre blowout which sent me flying into a wall on turn 5, thats taught me not to use a softer compound on longer races without pit stops:p.

Ashley.

Is that in the other mode apart from World Tour? So the races are longer in that mode, or do you set the amount of laps? lol, I'm too busy with World Tour at the moment.

lol, yeah, Pro Career, i havnt touched world tour yet, pro career is excellent, you set the rules, lap amount and you can choose which car you have in the championship:D.

In the formula BMW races can be from 1 to 45 laps. Brilliant stuff.

What would you recommend as a good lap amount for when I come to do the Pro Career? :dopey:

It depends on the championship really:D Chapionships i wanna be spending time on, like the FBMW, i set it fairly high, championships like the F1000 on the other hand, i set it to 3 cos it sucked! If you wanna get a good balance where tyre wear and fuel come into play, set the laps quite high, over 15, maybe around 20.

Cool.

Damnit i wanna get into the Rothmans Williams.... when does that feature in the game? Anyone driven it yet?

The Marcos is definatly a pig to drive quickly, the rest of cars though handle just fine
That's good though, because in real life the Marcos GT cars were described by racers as cars that want to oversteer more than anything else. Since I can't drive one to see myself, I'll take their word for it, and that the games got the basic character of the car right at the very least.

Once I got used to the track, it was alright.

Did you notice the Marcos' image quality, while the camera has it in its POV, at the start of the race? Just like GT2.

Cheers,

MasterGT
