I'll have to agree with Carb on this one... Too bad we don't get to race at Suzuka... it's always a blast when you get that 1st sector right...

Fair enough but 4 test sessions in, with mostly cars that have already been run at some point in previous seasons I would like to think they would almost be sorted by now.

Red he used the Scirocco in 4.2 when it was ridiculasly OP and still couldn't win.. It was 7-11mph faster back then and that was on the 2nd best cars straight line speed.. It was what killed 4.2 in the end..

Also even though HSR is a draft fest (And silly for these) in the reverse race it will plow forward easily.

👍 Sounds like there's a history of interesting specs then.

And this is a little bit ranty but ...

If there was a rule where the host/organiser had to pick a car last, only after everyone else had picked theirs, you can bet they'd make a much better job of the specs. Picking first doesn't really give much incentive to make the rest competitive. I appreciate it's hard work and takes a hell of a lot of time getting them just right but for a successful series it's kind of crucial. 10 cars seems quite ambitious to get evened up. If it was me, I would seriously consider binning a few of the ropey ones and concentrating on the rest.

You should already have a good idea of what needs doing spec wise based on who picks what. The cars which have no slots left are more than likely to be the better ones and may need a spec decrease. And the other way round; the cars which virtually no-one has picked probably need a spec increase. Keep tweaking them until you have a respectable number of each car and you're probably not far off.

Ive dropped the hint twice and got the silent treatment both thimes so I make you right:lol: Knew summink was fishy the way our Furi jumped from the Golf.:sly:
 
It just worries me this has a very Season 4.1 feel about it :nervous:
 
I think adding some weight might do the job for the Scirocco. Although specs usually don't ever include ballast here in TOCA.

There's always the option of taking off one weight reduction stage, but TBH cutting its power to 285hp would probably bring its straight line speed within firing range of the others.

That crossed my mind but the as it is it was only Stage 1 Weight Reduction applied and that alone takes away 100+ kg...
 
I'll be testing some solutions myself.
 
This might be an unusual question, but with people from last seasons results who aren't racing, who has to qualiy in the heat races?

I'd guess that it would be the top twelve from last season who have entered this season

Why not drop the scirocco and reset the pics??
 
Scirocco will slowly drive you mad during the season if you keep it.
