Proof gives certainty. The fact they are in GTPSP only provides a strong likelihood, because it is just evidence and speculation not proof.

Proof and evidence are the exact same thing. Just different words.

So no, we don´t have any type of proof/evidence that RUF will be in GT5 until we have in-game pictures.

But, Kaz has said that you can transfer all cars from your PSP to your PS3. And that would be impossible if GT5 didn´t have RUF models. In some ways this is proof/evidence that we will have RUF´s but we might not be able to transfer all cars until we actually get the game in our hands.

So we know that RUF will be in GT5 but we have no proof/evidence to back it up. We are just waiting for PD to confirm what we already know.

Get my point?

I understand what you are saying, but Kaz never specified that all cars would be transferrable, that is my point. All it said was your cars can be transferred, and that can either be interpreted as all cars or most cars.

I used the word 'proof' in its raw mathematical meaning. In this sense, proof is only gained from an official announcement by Polyphony Digital/Sony. Evidence in this sense, well i meant there is something that indicates it may be in the game, but there is no solid proof. e.g. There is evidence that there is a wind tunnel in GT5, there is evidence of a track editor, evidence of a livery editor etc. But please lets not get caught up with 2 similar words used in different contexts that have subtly different meanings... :indiff:

I think its highly likely RUF will be in GT5, but there is no confirmation.

I believe so, yes.

As for the debate over RUF being in GT5...why even question it? Of course RUF will be in GT5.

I only mentioned the possibility of seeing RUFs ingame for the first time this weekend, and everyone jumped at me saying i was wrong and that they're 100% definitely in. But i never said they weren't...

They words have the exact same meaning.

Proof/Evidence = SAME THING. Get my point?

Either you have proof/evidence of something or you don´t have proof/evidence.

You can´t just say "well we have evidence but no proof."

No you don´t understand why people jump at you, that´s the problem.

read my post above.

I hope we wont be able to use the windtunnel. It's Need for Speed's cup of tea.

Yeah, because testing the effectiveness of a vehicle's aerodynamic properties is so Need for Speed.

My god, what were they thinking?

Yamauchi talks at Tokyo Auto Salon about delay,
"It's my fault. We'll release it by the end of the year."

I think it's been around 7 hours since the 5pm Saturay presentation, has there been any other news from it? Is this the only thing worth note? Was the TT challenge demo all they had?

End of the year? That would be awful. This is sad.

I did a search about the presentation on this thread & I came across a comment that the presentation will be done in the Toyota booth (probably about the collaboration).

Do you have reason to think of this source as being reliable esegk?

He is the last person to tell a lie,
and others also reported

The presentations Kaz gave were both at the Toyota booth, no doubt about the collaboration and not GT5 in general. It's highly, highly likely we won't be getting any new GT5 info (aside from the new G sport trailer), especially since the interview that said we would get info was taken before this delay malarky has come up.

If indeed they do decide to release it at the end of the year, PD/Sony will be absolutly slammed by the media. They know that too, and I'm sure they're doing everything they can to get it out for the summer.

well...this doesn't come as a shock or a blow does it? If someone does feel the aforementioned way then please go find another franchise to adore :) You're fresh outta luck on this one :)

Google translate says-
Said Kazunori Yamauchi, GT5 is also required to release later this year!

As far as I am concerned, tomorrow is later this year. :)
