Pretty darn tasty OmicroN! 👍 I like.

Skip - Are you using Linux? I've got GIMP on my Mandrake distrib. and it's fricking awesome :D

that celica is really really nice i can seem to outline or paint right so i completely suck.

I'm still working on it, all I've got left is some wheel detail's and then I'll colour it. I think it's so far pretty clean.

I'm going to re-do some of the jaggy lines.

Yup, it sure is! Fedora for me. Nice job Omicron, I'm having trouble with the reflections on a black car. (That and finding time to finish it).

Black is a really tough colour to vector with as you can only add highlights to it. I made a blackish Ab Flug supra (see at deviantart) for Kazesupra, which turned out pretty grey actually. Don't let it get too dark, it looks messy as you lose detail.

OK, thanks. I think I'll make it in orange or some other color, then mess with the saturation/brightnesss to make it black after the fact. The LCD on my laptop is not too good at distinguishing different shades of grey. Spring break is next week, so I should have plenty of time to finish it.

Here is my first attempt at trying to vector a car. Comments please. :)

Inspired mainly by donbenni.;)
enjoy.

I'm lazy, so no windshield wipers, and no headlights.
That's freaking awesome. The reflections on the window need to be sharper though (remove the blurry edges)

Thanks shannon, I agree on the windows. Thanks everyone else for the positive comments.
Here's another one I cooked up, changed the overall look a bit, the windshield (don't know if it's better or worse) and I really made my own lights! hurray.

Vman, your headlights look damn good, how do you do it, do you just make a bunch of layers or what. I'm jealous.:irked:
lol
:D Good job on the toons by the way.

Hm..it's pretty hard to explain. I just..do what works for me. I use quite a few layers..I should tone it down a bit haha. But anyway, I work the headlights just as I work the rest of the car. Lineart on one layer, then base color, darks, lights, details, highlights, and some other misc. layers. And as always, REFERENCE PICS! Some people think that using reference pics is the n00bie way to do it, but I think its the only way to understand how something looks. By reference I mean just any pictures that help you gain an understanding of its form. Hope this helps, and thanks for the compliment =D

if you mean the Z its really nice great job man and that skyline is really good too.
