Alot of people would give it a shot. 👍... Including me!

Here's a preview of my latest vector piece I've been working on. I need to re-do a few parts, as the lines look a bit off. :grumpy:

I have to say, vectoring a Enzo Ferrari from this very angle sucks. It's kinda tough, but I'm gonna try to finish this one. :) Anyway, on with the pic:

Oh, Shannon, how's the HRT 427 going on? :D

EDIT : Looking at the Enzo again, I have to say the lines at the back of the car are really messed up. :grumpy: :grumpy:

Updated.
Here's how it looks like coloured. I might have missed a few spots, and obviously there's still work need to be done. What do you guys think, so far?

Note: Donbenni, I have to say I the colouring process can be such a pain in the arse sometimes. :grumpy:

got your tutorial Don, because I wanted to see if that could help me learn how to color some drawing scans I have here. you see, as the dork I am, I drew some redesing in a mach 1 and a super bee on squared sheets -___- so Im scannin 'em and colouring them in photoshop so they can look clean. I was wondering how to do it, and maybe Ill grab some coloring techniques offa your style, wich isnt mine at all, but maybe someting from there will help. Im not for the solid color look, nay, the "automodelista look" you all guys use, I want gradations :D but anyway, Ill try to come up with something when I have time. just wanted to say thanks man.

Wow shant good going! 👍 Your line work looks fantastic :D The only thing that struck me i saw it was that the dark sections look slightly off. Maybe if they had more colour/saturation then it would look nice.

hey don ive pretty much finished my clio vector its not the best and there are jaggies everywhere but im still proud of it tell what u guys think

When you made the shadows, all you did was make the yello body color darker right? if you make it the darker yellow and then make it a little orange the shadow will look alot better!

Not every aspect of that car needs to have a thick line.....no one here uses that right......unless your style is to use fat lines everywhere.
Thick line = border, fascia connection lines, headlights, etc. The rest that arent important are smaller and smaller.

Therefore what you just said makes about as much sense as something that really makes no sense at all. Right or wrong is in the eye of the beholder. But i do agree that fat lines shouldn't be used everywhere, but i don't think that there's anything wrong with the enzo when it comes to the lines.

Hey Initial Racing... I'm a big fan of your work, and I just wanted to know what YOU use? Also, how do you draw the lines for the car? With a pencil type tool?

I found an easy way to do what you guys are doing. Instead of using the pencil tool to do all the lines, use the line tool in Flash MX. Make a line from the start point to the end point of any curve on the car. Then take the arrow tool and bend the line. You can replicate almost any bend with this method. And if you can't get it perfect using that method, use the white arrow tool to adjust the curve of the line. It's quick, easy, and looks the same as if it were done the hard way.

Also, I think I've gotten a style to my vectors. Instead of using the conventional fills and blocks of color, I'm using the gradient tool. It gives a really cool look.

I'll show you guys a sample of my work Monday... Sadly all of my work is at school, so I'll have to put it on a disk and bring it home to show you guys.

Anyone do a supra? :) If you say yes, I'll put some pics up of what I'm looking for. Let's just say, It's like my avatar. (like that's surprising) I'm not even going to try drawing some of these things.

Yeah i'd be happy to do a supra for you kaze, specially the ab flug one, or what ever it's called, thats a sweet ride :D

if you need a pic let me know. I've got a few. BTW: YOU ARE THE F:censored:G MAN!

Can't find any really decent ab flug pics, can you post the links to the ones you found? I found a good kaze mk3 supra pic, so i'll do that if not :)

Edit: once i've finished this Jun WRX i've just started :O
