Post events that you found tough or just cannot complete all the goals.
How did you manage to get the difficult goals?
A collection of tough events and solutions may help others.

The toughest events/goals for me so far are:

- The pace setter at Sakkito. I managed to do it eventually with my GT86 but had to run really good laps.
- The fast lap at Ruapuna in Road D. Managed it with the Porsche.
- The pace setter at Stowe. I managed to do it with the Lancer.

Events I haven't been able to beat:

- Draft someone for 5s and then overtake at Mojave. It just doesn't work.
- Go 249km/h at Sakitto. None of my cars can reach that speed.

I have two events that I have tough time at the moment but can't remember the names now. I'll check them tomorrow.

249 km/h I found the car for that I'll check it that tomorrow also.

That top speed one I had to do by it self. I juiced up my civic with just hp and I was able to do it by driving further than the turn in point ruining my race but I got the goal. Drafting an opponent helps.

I cannot do the draft for xx.xx then overtake.

I bought the Jaguar and did the 249km/h goal.

Now I'm stuck on the Triple 200 at Snetterton.
I just can't break the 1'13 average lap. I've got it into the 1'14's.
Now that I have the Jaguar I'll try it with that.

What I found that works for these objectives is pick a car that you want to draft and then bump draft them. You will overtake a car on the other side thus achieving this objective. Worked for me on both the Road E and Road D events thus far.

Forgot to mention that I am playing on PS4. (game doesn't look like that in motion)

I only ran the first section but the second part of that championship proved a bit difficult. The AI did not seem to have any problems in the rain but my car was sliding around quite a lot.

Yeah Jaguar has top speed.

My two are Road D
  1. The 200 triple pace setter Snertterton 200
  2. NZ Club hot lap Ruapuna Park Club

Do you mean that while bump drafting one car I overtake another car and that counts towards the objective?

@Animera great thread, thank you!

Adding some more info here.
Was struggling with Road D Silverstone Stowe pace setters. Used an Alpine and upgraded suspension, body weight reduction and brakes. Still took a lot of effort. Maybe there is some other car that can do that better.
Very important to find a way to pass two chicanes on the straight without loosing too much speed and not getting penalties. God knows how may times I got it wrong, but understanding that was the key for me. On the left-hand corner after that try to keep as close to the left track border as possible.

Also posted that here:

How to do 200 Triple:

Use the GT86 with these upgrades:

+1 Tyres
+ Brakes
+ Weight Reduction
- Normal Aero
+3 Intake
+3 Camshaft
+3 Fuel injection
+3 Engine Block
- Naturally Aspirated
+1 Differential
+2 Gearbox
+3 Suspension

I just hate every breakout event, or whatever it’s called (the ones to smash bricks)
I think the concept is fine since most of the time you still have to be fast and stick to the line to be successful, but some targets are still too hard to beat. I still can't figure out how to get "gold" target on Silverstone Stowe.

Hmmm, that 200 Triple setup didn't work for me.
My car doesn't accelerate anywhere near like the one in the video.

I have tried many cars and setup and still can't be the time. My best is 1.13.6 with Jaguar.
Video it seems that there is also some tunning done.

I use Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

I mean the breakout event. I just can't find enough boards to break to get the requirement amount of points. There are some in the middle of the track but when I try to get them it takes too much time.

I wouldn't say the C8 Breakout at Road C is hard but does anyone have a path to reach 2000 points in time?

Not really tough as I can't even start it.
My lap gets invalidated as soon s I pass the start/finish line to start the lap.

Hope this help. Don't forget to smash that like button, subscribe and turn the notification bell on!! He is a good tuber and deserve it.

I have the same bug. Tempted to reinstall the game... but than other bugs my come out. :guilty:

@strela oh wow, thanks so much for the link! There was definitely one breakout event I had no idea how to beat. Will make sure to give some appreciation on the channel itself as well.

Edit
Boy do I feel stupid now. You can actually smash through these tires.

Hi there, did you have any luck beating the draft then overtake on Mojave?
Tried all the advice the other guys have given but I still can't get it.

Nope, I still can't do it. I tried the bump draft a car and pass someone on the side suggestion, but it didn't work for me.

I did manage to complete the 200 Triple, by buying and upgrading a Ford Escort, and lengthening the gears.
Got a 1'12.6xx average.

I gave up on the Road A final 2 races in the snow. They're almost impossible and not fun at all.

Thanks for the update.
I think I'll leave it and go back to it later. Maybe it is a bug as I'm sure I've drafted and overtaken many times with no reward.
Haven't tried any races after that yet as I always try to complete the races in order.
Enjoying the game though.

Here is another tough one in GT B.
I've only had 1 attempt so far, but I think it's doable.

Turns out it wasn't so tough.

Could you tell what upgraded you used?

Struggled a lot with Oulton Park pace setter event in Road C. What a great track and challenge!

Here is the video of how I beat it and a little fail compilation in the end.

Here are the upgrades I used:

One more tip is to not use Porsche 911 for Road С hot laps and pace setter challenges. Was doing another Pace Setter event at Dubai and with upgraded Porsche I was still 1.5s short off a "gold" target. Picked up a Stingray with more or less same upgrades (both were maxed out to 499) and beat it on my first try by almost half a second.

I am almost completed Road D, and so far, the only tough event was the Pace Setter at Sakitto for Road E.
I have done it with the Lancer.

It required some practicing, and also it improved the handling a lot when I tuned the brake balance.
On this note, I could really see the effects of this simple tune, it made the braking phase smoother and gentler, allowing for more accurate lines to the apex.
