Should run it with AGT.
GT3/GT4/TCR. The B12H would be sensational with an international grid of TCR cars. There was a proposal to run them at this past B12H. Maybe Tasi, Comini, Tarquini and Muller could come over.

So many makes and ALL the road cars(bar SEAT) are sold in AUSTRALIA. Even if there were not many venues chosen, there are still enough tracks to race at. PI, The Bend, SMP, ipswich, Perth. Winton.

That'd be a good idea, at least until the series gets to the point where it can sustain itself. As much as I like TCR cars, I'm not particularly interested in watching if there's only going to be a small grid like Formula 4 or the SuperUtes.

I'd like to see the costs of running a TCR versus running a V8 Tourer, Super2 and Carrera Cup. If that is manageable and the promoter has the series at some high profile races, we could see good sized grids.

It might be a really good step up from Toyota 86s. You get new cars and don't have to hope about getting a ride in a V8. I'm excited about it.

Huge crash in Vila Real in WTCR. Looks like all drivers are ok. Really scary! James Thompson couldn't even finish his interview..
I was really worried about Björk's car, but he managed to kick his window out and get out. Ehrlacher went out of the car through the back.

Just got caught up on this...wow :scared: I guess Huff and Benanni forgot about the whole, “don’t make contact with your teammate” rule...

Audi Sport bosses met with CAMS to discuss plans for TCR at the Bathurst 12 Hour in February.

The manufacturer sent an example of its RS3 TCR car to Australia last year for promotional activities before remaining in the country in the hope a TCR series would come to fruition.

Melbourne Performance Centre is involved in tentative discussions with Audi Australia regarding involvement, having secured the rights to import and run Volkswagen Audi Group TCR cars.

MPC boss Troy Russell says he has received several inquiries about the category already and believes the series can cater for both aspiring drivers and gentlemen racers.

“I have have a few inquiries from guys that have done racing in the past and a few younger guys and people who have been around in other categories,” Russell told Speedcafe.com.

And these are brands that sell well here. So good, if it can take off. Come ooooon, Honda. :) didn't an NSX win at Bathurst in the 90s? Make it happen.

If TCR Australia, winds up with a smaller grid than SuperUtes, something is indeed, wrong with the world.

Fun race to watch. It’s a shame the marshals made such a mess of that recovery, robbed us of at least 1 more lap of racing. They definitely needed some Benny Hill music playing for them.

Wish there were two commentators for the Europe races.

Good races in WTCR from Slovakia. I love watching TC racing at that circuit, it’s perfect for it.

Great to see the Alphas going well. Strange to see them find so much pace. I wonder if it has anything to do with parting ways with Morbidelli, and maybe going a different direction with setup?

Probably belongs in the "Motorsports OMG/WTF Moments" thread. Basically bumper cars start to finish.

I haven’t watched the race yet, but could the race be the cause for this?

Borkavic lookon like Dahlsim out here

Pretty sure...? Don't remember those particular two having a coming together in that race.

The ADAC TCR races at Hockenheim this weekend were fairly juvenile/bumper cars as well.
