Great!......But I'm confused, what was the point of voting?

OOOh.. ooohh I saw one of my PSN friends in the TCR shuffle room today...
Please keep me in mind if you shuffle on custom tracks again. :D
I would like in on custom track shuffling!!!

I hope you thought Phantasey Ring Track by Gary as a shuffle event for Wednesday was a good idea, the room did have the desired affect with regards guests, the room was full for most of the night from the word go.

There were a few that had to be removed from the room (11) two of which were just down right disrespectful to Gary about his work, so needless to say they didn’t last long with me before they got kicked from the room. I won’t have any member’s hard work being brought into question when they have spent their own time for the benefit of the members.

Why did I pick this track, easy the members voted for it and two, in my opinion it was the best suited to run a shuffle race on out of all the track we tested Monday / Tuesday.

I received a number of friends requests last night from guests wanting to join again, and must have had 15 or more pm’s, needless to say I didn’t get to race much last night.

10/10 Gary I thought your track was fantastic for any bhp/weight/ pp combo, they all gave for good entertainment last night. The room being full all night long showed that the combo was a great success.

I love it when some guy says "can we change track" or "change cars" ,Phil answers: " DONT ARGUE WITH HOST,JUST ENJOY TCR AND GET ON TRACK!!!!!!!" ....:lol::lol:

Great fun last night :)

I agree capt D we should have had your track on this week, great for racing.

Thanks for your feedback guys, much appreciated :)

Excellent job of hosting Phil, keeping the rebels in order 👍

I couldn't stay very long yesterday and it was the first time I did a shuffle event. It was really fun.

The only thing I regret was that there were some guys I never saw in the league before that didn't hesitate to bump me off the road, but it were perhaps the guys that dranddad had to remove.

Edit: Does anybody have a reference time for the amuse on this track?

You're right turbo, there were a number of newcomers, but they are uasually dealt with quite quickly. We rely on the regulars to name and shame, so don't be shy 👍

No reference time.
I think we were doing high late 30s early 40s with 400-500PP.

The track is great. Because of its variety of fast and slow corners, it is convenient for many types of cars.

With the S2000 GT1, I did a 1'31. So I suppose the fast guys will do 1'26-1'27

Edit: I was speaking about Ronza 7

In anyone's opinion, what is the best custom track Joylord or someone made that you raced on? I would like to try it :sly:

Lol, well I guess it's a matter of opinion, but the track that has stuck in people's minds is GT Paddock in an M3 CSL.

I have it, but my friends list is full.
Maybe we have a mutual friend that can be the middle man?

But you should just join our races instead and see what you think.

👍

So many to choose from ... really! 👍
Every track has its own characteristics and sweet spots.
All were made with precision, dedication and craftmanship.
The track really is the core of TCR.

But I remember the following combo's:

Small and MIGHTY (: First time racing with TCR in the Lotus Elise.)
DTM - Demanding Tyre Management
512 Bloody Brilliant!
Stock 4WD
and the list goes on ...

There is still place on my friendslist, so you can send me a FR.

I must say that I have joined recently TCR and that it would for me be an occasion to get that track if imalexi can put it on line for a while.

Unfortunately I dont have the track, otherwise I would open a room in a minute...

I will be online in five minutes and I have the track.

EDIT: Track is now online on my account. If you don't have it you can download it there.

Who has the track? I can't find 'Ronza' anywhere.

I'll be on during the next session

Race number 198, oops, that's not right.

I had a few races last night and although the track and car are amazing, close racing was quite tricky. It seems all the braking points change when you're following a car, so driving bumper to bumper is very difficult.

I think we'll try Racing Hard tyres tonight, just to see if it helps and possibly try it with 50-100bhp less. Even if we take off 100bhp, it'll still have 500bhp!

If Spy, Bart, Turbogeit and I were finding it hard not to make a mistake in 5 laps, a newcomer would be totally put off by this.

I know there's a lot of people with the same mentality as Jeremy Clarkson (MORE POWER!!!), so sorry to disappoint, but I'm also thinking of the newcomers.

👍

p.s. Jon is moving over the weekend, so he might not be around for a few days.

Imalexi, I think your proposition is a good idea. I will do some testing now in my private lounge and will let you know what it gives.

I did some testing: with 502 BHP and racing hards. Car is about 2-3 seconds faster than with 601 BHP on sports softs and much easier to control.

It feels like a race-car now.

Thanks for the testing turbo. 👍

Please try to remember to use the Edit button if no one else has posted since your last post, we all make mistakes I know, sometimes posts are done in a rush and its to late when you press the submit button.

Phillip.

You describe exactly what I felt, once I had pressed the button.

Lol turbo.

Thanks for testing it. Will hopefully get on at a reasonable time tonight.

This is turning out to be great fun. Two out of three races I ended up finishing within 0.010 of a second with one of the other drivers!
