Why don't you bring it back the ciruite editor was awesome back then !!!!
Remember Wings of the Red Dragon on GT5? That little circuit was an absolute BLAST to race in lobbies. I really wish Kaz and PD would stop abandoning features so soon after coming up with them.It was fun to play other peoples creations. Hopefully if it ever comes back, tracks can be shared and payouts will be higher.
Was that the one that even Samba buses would launch off to the moon on the back straightaway?Remember Wings of the Red Dragon on GT5? That little circuit was an absolute BLAST to race in lobbies. I really wish Kaz and PD would stop abandoning features so soon after coming up with them.
I wouldn't bring it back if I was at PD. Most people are frankly uncreative and would just recreate other courses, either in the real world or from other games - including prior GT titles. And all that effort you'd put into say, recreating Grand Valley or the Monaco GP course would be entirely for nothing if/when PD decides to have those courses added to GT7 or another future installment. Why don't you bring it back the ciruite editor was awesome back then !!!!
I believe so. Here's an excellent video of the course:Was that the one that even Samba buses would launch off to the moon on the back straightaway?
People would make things that they wanted to race? Oh no! Save us, Polyphony! Save us from ourselves! Most people are frankly uncreative and would just recreate other courses, either in the real world or from other games - including prior GT titles.
Problem is, years will have passed before many fan-favourite tracks are added to the game. A track creator allows for players to make them, and lesser known circuits that PD aren’t likely to add.I wouldn't bring it back if I was at PD. Even I'd admit to the fact that I'd simply re-create courses from the original F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, and Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Besides, I'd much prefer the potential development for that feature go towards something else. Not sure what, exactly, but there surely must be something.
Personally, my solution to satisfying the interests of those who'd want a track creator, would be to simply add venues that are highly-requested, and mix that in with some more obscure courses. I'd personally like to see the Goodwood Hillclimb course, Silverstone, and the Ascari Race Resort return from GT6 alone, never mind other venues like Twin Ring Motegi, Monaco, or Circuito di Roma.
Genius. PD probably haven't thought of....just adding more tracks.Personally, my solution to satisfying the interests of those who'd want a track creator, would be to simply add venues that are highly-requested, and mix that in with some more obscure courses. There was. I was going to do the Melbourne GP course that was just down the road. They ended up quietly scrapping the idea. And wasn't there supposed to be an app where we could drive around mapping courses on real streets? I'm ready to go down and map the Long Beach Grand Prix any time.
The amount of liveries that are recreations or minor modifications of real world liveries isIndeed, if that was a valid argument you'd have to dispense with livery editing as well.
