DLC in my opinion...
100% cost for Standard game buyers
66% cost for Collectors
33% cost for Signature
U.S. where no Signature is available 100% then 50%.
My view won't be shared by all, but the way I see it, you get payback ongoing by PD for 'investing' in GT5.
The more that I think about it, there has to be more tracks and events that we haven't seen yet. Think about it, in GT4, there were way more tracks and events.
Things we haven't seen yet that was in GT4:
Endurance races
Manufacturer races
American Events
European Events
Japanese Events
While we have some Special Events in GT5, I belive we had more of the Missions in GT4.
My point in all of this is I can't see how they can offer so many more races and events in GT4, not to mention tracks, than GT5. There just has to be alot that we cant see just yet, which would unlock more events and tracks.
And if I'm wrong, then thats just a bunch of poo.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I just thought that maybe the reason for the exclusion of Test Course (if it really has been and it appears so) then maybe it can be created using the Course Maker or whatever it's called. Perhaps.
Or the lists we've seen are wrong and it's in.
Really, is that how the track creator will work? That's a bit disappointing as well. I was looking forward to designed a custom track with a little more freedom than what I saw there...
I'm getting a bit fed up with all the disappointment around here. I just feel people have had totally unrealistic expectations, no doubt increased by the long development cycle.
My issue with the game is that it provides less content than the previous game, and for me to invest also includes buying the console, so this game is a huge investment for me. PD have succeeded in probably making the best looking driving game with the graphics, but i doubt the physics would be superior to something like Iracing, and the ammount of tracks available lower than in GT4, which already missed a lot of tracks key to the racing world. Tracks that other games bring.
Is this game worth £300? no its not, is it worth it for someone who already owned a PS3, probably yes.
Sorry if it has been posted already:
I'm very impressed with the outcome of that generator. Hopefully updates will be made to it to allow further fine tuning. I'd like to see Playstation Move compatibility for course editing![]()

May I remeind you that you can also play other games on å PS3, so if you buy one you can buy other games which will give you a lot of fun too, just a reminder
Exactly what i think about everyone else purchasing a PS3 just for Gran Turismo 5 - do you not play any other games at all?
Not interested in console games, all the games i play are on pc which is generally better for graphics and controls, there arent really any PS3 games that interest me, I only bought GT4/GT3 for my PS2 also.
I'm a PC gamer too, but it doesn't mean i don't enjoy LittleBigPlanet, WipEout HD, Killzone 2, God of War III, Resistance 1 and 2, Motorstorm 1 and 2, Uncharted 1 and 2 etc etc... Do you really not find any of those interesting?![]()
The "Eifel (Circuit) track that guy made looked pretty fun...Certainly looks a lot promising than Cape Ring IMO.

Not at all, the type of games i have grown to enjoy (i used to own a lot of consoles when i was young) are all on the pc, and i dont have enough time to play those as much as id like, also i am big into sim racing games more than anything and the best of them are on the pc, with exception of the Gran Turismo series.
Sure i can play F1 2010 on PS3, but i already have it for the PC which is widely considered the best platform, and the same usually is said for other games available to multiplatform. I am sure im not the only one to share this view.

My reaction:

It's going to be amazing, but it's going to get boring pretty quickly. I feel like the Big Event we've been waiting for all these years has been deferred again.
