In your opinion, what are some tracks that need some polishing up?
To me, Grand Valley.

Trial Mountain I'd add to that if I may.

Grand valley just needs a texture update to fix that horrible vomit looking grass.

Cote D'azur, cardboard cut-out builldings, and the sea looks like it's made out of a blue
plastic bin bag. Worst. Water. This gen.
Still fun to drive though.

Depends if you are talking about a patch for GT5 or GT6. I'm not sure there is much point in doing anything with a patch. However, for GT6 which will probably be on next gen hardware I would hope for an over haul of all tracks.

some tracks are too smooth, thats my only complaint.

Cote D' Azur by a wide margin. As far as I can tell, it hasn't been changed whatsoever since GT3, whereas the other ones (Trial Mountain, Deep Forest, Grand Valley) have at least been updated texture wise since GT4.

Cote D Azur looks 100 times better than them 3 imo!?

I've always thought Cote D azur looked pretty good. It's also one of my favorite tracks. Now I'll probably look closer next time I race it and be bugged by how it looks. Maybe not though.

I want time and weather change on this track (and others) before they get graphical updates.

I definitely agree that cote d azur needs it, textures are horrible compared to the real place.

Every old GTseries track. And then put them in gt5 :p
Leave the polishing of existing tracks for gt6.
Way better use of time for pd track creator team.

Côte d'Azur, because everything looks like its either made out of plastic and/or cardboard.

Côte d'Azur feels too artificial. Also because they are lacking all the marshalls around the track.

Laguna Seca too. The ground texture looks so "bitmap", and some elements like the grandstand stairs are floating in the air. Quite despointing.

SSR5. Some of the new exits can stay for a future free roam area, but the overall appearance should be reverted to GT1-4 as much as possible.

I hope they don't do to SSR11 what they did to SSR5 (remove most of the grandstands, empty those remaining, darken the whole thing up so it looks like a fosaken city).

Tsukuba could do with a little bit of work if you look at it in real life

That track in my opinion is BEAUTIFUL!
Oh well, people have different thoughts... :)

In order:

Laguna Seca
Indy Speedway
Trial Mountain
Deep Forest
Grand Valley
London
Monza

El Capitan, Midway, Apricot, Grand Canyon, Citi D'Aria (or whatever it was).... ahhh...those would be fun!

Can you imagine how much $$$ PD would rake in with a GT4 Track Pack DLC for GT5?

In order:

Laguna Seca
Indy Speedway
Trial Mountain
Deep Forest
Grand Valley
London
Monza

LONDON!?!
INDY!!!?!?!?!
There some of the best looking tracks , heck London has 3d people! Indy well its just a plain track in real life but its spot on! and Monza!!! are you blind!!!!
The rest do need a huge touch up deep forest needs a little work but the rest need a whole new makeover.

I'd second this too. Those trees are just offensively ugly. :yuck:
Worst. Trees. This gen.
Though it's still great to drive on too.
I'd also be really happy if PD released some classic track Dlc. It'd be great if they were given a complete visual overhaul, but I'd be happy with relatively quick, upscaled ports, if that's all they had the spare time and resources to do.

I agree whole heartedly. The other day, I was trying to get some nice shots in Photomode and it was not pretty (especially the track side objects).

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Suzuka! There's just something off about it. It looks better in the rain than it does in the sunshine.

Anyway, I don't scrutinize the tracks... and would much rather just more tracks.
Like some of the narrow lane rally paved tracks from gt4. And I really miss the Montegi Ring, and Seattle track. And I think there was another city track in gt4 I miss, but I can't remember what it was now. Heck, I'd like even the old Driving Park set from gt4.
Even if the graphics were worse than Monte Carlo.
But I guess I'm digressing.

Indy is the same track piece copy and pasted all the way around every 20metres.

Like I said above "In order" Monza being last as some bumps in the road would be nice.

London, yeah probably a stretch, needs a pit lane though.

Trial mountain, one of my favorite tracks ever! But sadly looks so ps2, infact it looks better on gt3 than gt5 as it had the sun bursting through the trees ect

I really like the new SSR5. The new High Speed Ring looks great to, so if they give the HSR treatment to all the old GT tracks, wow!

Deep Forest!
But I dont care much about it honestly. I prefer more old tracks then better textures.

Trial Mountain I'd add to that if I may.
Yes definitely.
In general many props (like trees, human spectators (this definitely), etc.) could use more polygons and better textures. It's too late for GT5 though, if the technology even allowed it.
