Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody could tell me why I can't use the 1970s trans cammer or the Art Morrison '60s corvette in the new Super Car nostalgia events?

Cheers

Because they weren't technically built during that time period.

Their ingame "date" is their SEMA date. (Or undated all together which excludes them from any date restricted event)

Ok. so what's their correct date then? Because I can't find any SEMA date.

I think it has more to do with they are Tuner cars and technically are customs not Super cars.

edit: BTW the Mach 1 Mustang(especially in yellow) looks and drives better than the Transcammer

Not really. You can run a 2CV in the seasonal if you want. And that is far from being a "Super Car" :dopey:

This ^^. I don't think it has anything to do with being a tuner car. So far, I've been able to run anything in the race that was built pre 1980. It's just thothan these 2 hat haven't let me. Which is disappointing, because I liked the performance of the transcammer. (And I don't think the Mach 1 performs better)

UrieHusky has the current answer on this. This very thing has been discussed in various threads before.

I think it is pertaining to the exact manufacture date(being no more than 1 year or less earlier or later the car is ineligible to entry) and not the definition between super cars and the normal or technically "tuned" ones.
