Whenever i change transmission it makes this wierd sound that comed from the engine if you agree write something and its so loud on some cars and i think it should be patched

Its a normal noise made by each transmission.

Yes, straight cut gears whine...It's not so bad with a short ratio gearbox however.

Yeah with a short ratio but with long its gets quite annoying especially if the sounds great

Competition gearboxes often whine like that. In some in car videos of race cars it's actually almost the only noice that can be heard. Here waiting for someone to post that YouTube clip of the M3 with straight cut gearbox again...

Who invented those? What a stupid sound. You could go deaf in that car.

Who invented straight cut gears? Probably some German engineers (brainy bunch that lot) who wanted to go faster and reduce shift times. Problem is that sound in that car is a little excessive, it's not as bad in other cars...

Indeed they are.👍 The germans have invented MANY MANY things. For a start, they invented cars in the first place. Without the germans we wouldn't have GT5 at all! Wouldn't that suck!! Secondly, they invented jet engines. Thanks to the germans, you can get from point A to B MUCH quicker.

In conclusion, The Germans deserve a little more credit than that(put I'm not saying other countries have invented nothing of any use).
