I'm not going to be able to make it. They are opening the Motorcycle season on the Nürburgring on April 1st. They've got a free lap on the Green Hell, track training/time on GP and grilling in the evening. No way I'm going to miss that. Been there the last few years, its tradition by now :cool:

Cant make it this sunday, sorry.
Next sunday is also not possible for me, in case u were planing the first race.
 
Next weekend is Easter. So it will be hard for me to race that day. Maybe pushing it back a week?? if possible. :scared: Should be clear after that.
 
The first championship round certainly won't be scheduled for the 8th of April (Easter). It would be on the 15th at the earliest.

But, who is planning to make the preseason race on the 1st?

EDIT: The races are at the same time as my SuperGT series. It's not getting much turnout, so I may or may not be able to race at all here. I'll let you know.

Room will open in around 40-50 minutes. Event will start at in 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Update: Track specifics - All hard surfaces are track - No special pit entry/exit regulations.

If there is a small turnout, we will do a shorter race and without the dual stage qualifying.

Edit: Remember, you don't have to register to participate in this preseason race/practice. Everyone is welcome.

Saga. I'll be missing today. Last day of spring break forum boys. Spending day outside with them.
 
Due to low numbers, the official preseason has been postponed until April 15th.

What was shown today was that the Skyline's advantage off the line is indeed very significant. A rolling start procedure may be implemented.

I have also gotten rid of the factory car scheme.

Rolling starts are so much fun. I vote we do all races rolling start. As well this makes grid stacking easy on host. No resets just start race. Type name. All cars passed till name called and pull up. Something like that. Pace around at 60ish mph and go green when leader is close to finish.
 
Yup, there will be rolling starts for every race. I'm in the process of formulating a procedure for how to do it. I considered "gridding" after the race start, but I've never seen it done before so I was hesitant. But now that you recommend it, I think I'll go with it.

I'll have all the revised race procedures updated by the end of the week. I will also present track boundaries and track specific regulations for each track by the end of the week.

Looking forward to seeing track specific boundaries as these tracks have numerous questionable areas depending on who you race. (I like on Trail Mountain all hard surface)

I think I have a bit of a tune going on right now, but I am questioning if faster is better than lower tire wear and being a bit slower.... hmmm...

Good series, I wonder how close to last I end up ;)

Y you increase your workload, sagaris, listen to the engine note? You all ready have the p.p. under control for each car.
 
As another thought, I think we should have 1 required pit. I have been doing some practice with my car and I think I can make all 30 laps without pit. Requiring a pit would create more of a need to create strategy on how/when you use that pit.

Just a suggestion

I just went of the entry list if there is more vettes signed up and not on the entry list ill quite happily change :)
