Trying to platinum GT5 before server shut down on May 31st

With the servers shutting down in just over a week now, who here is breaking everything to try and achieve the platinum before the 31st?

I actually forgot GT5 had multiplayer achievements.

True, but there are only 2 trophies that require the online servers & are easy to achieve but I was more inclined to think that because you need to grind both A & B Spec to level 40, without the 200% login bonus & seasonal events after the 31st, its going to become so much more of a grind, players aren't going to even try after the servers are shut down

I grinded to level 40 and did the 2 online achievements this month. Platinum is still a long way away, getting all gold is mental.

So just to confirm you will still be able to Platinum once everything is shut down? (provided you have done the share photo and share track ones).

The game trophies are tied into the game itself, not the game servers. And when you sync trophies to have them show up on your profile, that is a matter of them synching up with the PSN servers rather than the game ones.


So long as you do the couple online trophies in GT5, you can do the rest of them at your leisure.

If you do not have share a photo and share a track trophy you can not get the platinum trophy.

Got my platinum trophy after 6 years and 1 month ish "missing timestamps due to corrupting my data"

After glitching the Vettel challenges and 50 or more attempts of Eiger Nordwand I got the trophy
