Yo can someone tell me how to get more oversteer in RWD without the vicious flick-back?:scared: And is there a way to play 2 player on the vegas strip?? :dunce: 👍

Answer to question 1:

Switch to tyres with less grip, N2 are usually good but you can go all the way to N1 if you want to. The car will surely oversteer and the transition from drift to grip will be smoother thanks to the low grip level of the tyres.

Answer to question 2:

No. It was planned (hence the photos, from pre-release versions) but dropped for the final game.

Some are against it, but Economy tires don't hook as much as the others, so the snapback will not occur. That is just the cheap (free) solution though. It sounds like the car you are using has too much torque or is not the proper car to be drifting in. What kind of car is it and what are the specs? Is it FR MR FF 4WD?? You should tell us that so we can help you out better.

As for vegas drag, that's not in 2 player. It should be though, that would be fun.

feint and hold e-brake, control while holding e-brake, hold it all the way to a speed where u can countersteer:idea:

You should never have to use the e-brake in drifting. If you do, then your car isn't very good.

not if u can control it good and well, check out my vid, i did it with the s2000, s15 and rx-7.

s2000 in the beginning at the right turn i forgot to shift down to second gear.

s15, first one, pretty good and i kept a pretty good balanced line.

s15, second one, u can say pretty good again as well.

rx-7, couldnt really see it but im using the e-brake there too.

i use e-brake often as well as it comes to the cars i use have understeer that u have to come over even when u feint as well, its my technique so why bag on it...

Why are D1 Drifters using E-brake than,their cars isn't very good?:ouch:

Because GT4's e-brake is way more sensative and it makes the engine quit for a couple seconds. I never said it was bad in real life.

Whell,ok than, but again, you can use e-brake sometimes, with highly powered car, when you miss good corner entry line!

Yeah, most my drift cars are at 280-310 hp. My highest is 428, and feint drifts seem to work well for me.

i dont know what you mean by gt4's ebrake is 'way more sensitive' but i happen to think gt4's ebrake isnt very good.
but it doesnt make your engine quit, in order to lock the tires using the ebrake, one must push the clutch in(thus engine will idle... 750 rmp) then pull the ebrake, release the ebrake and then release the clutch. therefore it does not make the engine quit.

well... you didnt say in gt4. you just said in general. therefore you are talking about gt4 and real life. but as a112 said, the guys in Formula D and D1GP use the ebrake. not all the time, but only when needed. so your statment is not valid.

In GT4 it makes the engine quit on some cars. Not if you keep the gas floored though. :)

If the engine stalled, you'd hear the car have to restart, and the tach needle would drop straight to zero. If have not seen/heard this in any car in any GT game. The engine never dies in GT, hell, not even a bone dry gas tank will keep the engine from running! All it does is drop the tach to idle. You just can't stall the engine.

And yeah, try handbrake drift on Nissan Skyline Sedan 350GT-8,i sometimes get this reaction of the car:engine just revs in empty, just like in neutral gear position. And it the car suddenly goes again!

Tapping the e-brake is like going in to nuetral thats why if your going like

180 k and press the e-brake and drop it down to 1st gear you can rev the engine without gaining or losing speed its pretty sick
