Now I am no fan of having finalists from the same country, but boy do I like to see that Chelsea gets humiliated tonight.

Now this is a game. Chelsea have to attack attack attack and you know Madrid will do.

Done... I had hopes of reaching the final after beating Liverpool on Sunday, but Atl. Madrid demolished the dream.

Just saw this on Twitter

@1886_blog: Public transport in London is a mess. No underground trains since Monday. No buses since the 44th minute at Stamford Bridge!

First time in competitions history that two sides from same city contest Champions League final!!

What a pleasant surprise, didn't watch the game but glad to see the bus officially parked in the CL. 👍

Congrats to Atletico Madrid, Diego Simeone has done a fantastic job with them. Will be a good final for sure, either Madrid team can win it, so will be interesting to see who will come out on top in the final. 👍

Mourinho says up until the pen Chelsea were better team....I don't know about that!

But he said he hasn't had another look at the incident so he couldn't comment on it and he wished Atletico all the best in the final....he also seemed a bit emotional...

Turning out to be a good year for Spanish clubs in Europe. Madrid derby CL final. Valencia or Sevilla in the EL final. In fact, out of the 7 Spanish clubs in Europe, only 1 (Real Sociedad) was knocked out of their respective competition by a non-Spanish side (EL final still pending).

Well, deservedly Atletico probably should have gone through there. Poor defending to let in the 2 goals we let in from open play.

I will say this though, I dearly hope we don't buy Costa in the summer. Played like such a bitch all game. Fell on the ground more than Ronaldo and Suarez combined, time wasting by sitting on the ground with no injury and by being upset that the ball was not sitting in the exact position he wanted it.

Credit to Atletico, they broke Chelsea's bus today and we have a very interesting final on our hands.

He probably had cramps. And all teams waste time when ahead.

I have never seen a player play with the ball for 60 seconds before a penalty just because it wasn't in the correct position. That's a load of bull in my book. If I were the ref, I would've sent him off when he sat on the ground.

The ball was clearly falling into a divot. The fact that he even got a yellow for that was egregious.

And you would have sent off a player for sitting on the ground and doing nothing while the match was ongoing? Where is that in the rules of the game? That's completely silly. Chelsea didn't need to stop playing, and they didn't, and the ref did not involve himself, as he shouldn't have. You're really making gargantuan mountains out of mole hills here.

Falling on the ground and time wasting makes him a perfect Chelsea player :D

I thought Chelsea would take this fixture, but moreso as I detest Mourinho, I am glad they lost badly at home. Surely Real's trophy for the taking now - can life get any better for Bale post Spurs?
