Barcelona win 2-1 and 4-1 on aggregate....and that has to be the worst performance by a referee ive ever seen!

In other news, PSG defeated 2-1 Leverkusen and sealed their ticket to the next round with an aggregate score of 6-1...

I would love for PSG to win the tournament, just because I can't stand Bayern.

Still think it's between Madrid and Bayern.
Safe bet 👍, definitely not Barcelona as they lost their touch in my opinion. Man C had good chances and didn't let them come into their game at their own home.

Is Aguero injured again? He was rather lethargic in that half. His work rate was also rather poor. Dzeko did more work in 5 mins than what Aguero did in the entire first half. Aside from that, City got their (first?) goal at Camp Nou, so we at least got that to smile about. It was a reasonable campaign, my expectations were raised about them going far this season, but like that Arsenal performance against Bayern, City have nothing to be ashamed of, in the return leg at least.

That's 2 English teams down, skeptical about Man Utd getting through, but can see Chelsea making it through.

To see who can fall over more? Ronaldo or Robben?
I'm not saying that these guys dive too much, but apparently Tom Daley has been asked to referee the final if it is Madrid v Bayern.

Agreed... I can't see Chelsea going any further though.

I agree. Chelsea should advance past this stage but they will only get drawn against a tougher opponent that could potentially knock them out.

But people were saying that the year they won it. Napoli, Benfica, Barcelona and Bayern Munich they beat en route to winning it so in my eyes at least, they have as good a chance as any other team still in it.

Chelsea aren't going to be one of the favourites simply because most of the other remaining teams are better.

Chelsea's run to win it in 2011 was much akin to Greece's win at Euro 2004: tough route, but winning by defending solidly, riding their luck and taking their chances. You wouldn't bet on it happening again though.

The other second legs are this week, Chelsea v Gala and Real v Schalke tomorrow night and Man United v Olympiakos and Dortmund v Zenit on Wednesday night..

Chelsea v Gala and Real v Schalke tonight, the Chelsea game is 1-1 from the first leg and Real are 6-1 up....So the Chelsea game is the one to watch!

6 away goals, so even if they went and won 5-0 they'd still not go through. Who was the last team to beat Madrid 6-0 at home? Or 7-1/8-2 etc

It's probably not Gala. :lol:Whoops, meant Schalke.

Chelsea 2-0 up through Eto'o and Cahill and Real are 1-0 up through Ronaldo...

Have you seen the team Real put out?, they have made changes because they are so far ahead in the tie but Bale and Ronaldo are still playing...it cant be a weakened team if they are playing!

Oh Cristiano, don't do em like that. This guy, this guy.

Edit: ^^^ Ronaldo usually plays these already decided second legs. He's like a bionic thoroughbred horse and doesn't need any rest.

That and his obsession with stats/records.

I believe he asked to be played tonight.

After watching that match, I miss Gareth Bale slightly more.:(

Quite comfortable for Chelsea last night, Gala didn't put up much of a fight

Tonight is Dortmund-Zenit and Man United-Olympiakos (oh Christ), with Dortmund 4-2 up from the first leg and Olympiakos 2-0 up (oh Christ)...quarter final draw is on Friday Morning..

Dortmund should be able to finish the job with ease... 👍

As for United... I'm expecting Moyes to be fired after tonights game... I can smell disaster coming

Not expecting anything tonight!

Team news shortly....

United team...De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Jones, Evra, Valencia, Giggs, Carrick, Welbeck, Rooney, Van Persie....Mata is cup tied, Vidic not even on bench...

Moyes looks like his blood has stopped going to his head in that interview. Feel kinda sorry for him, may well be his last Utd. match tonight if rumours are to be believed.
