Looks like that the English hooligans have met their match in the Russians. 150 people injured, pretty much all of them English.

Vodka trumps beer.

The Russians were not drunk and had turned up solely to have a fight with anyone, likeminded idiots or not, they didn't care. The police have of course lost the 100-150 Russian thugs and did nothing to stop them either before or after they attacked anyone they came across.

Also where is the threat to ban France, after all their idiots have acted in them same way as the others but of course they are not foreigners so the police and UEFA don't care. You'd also think with all the terror threats lately they might have been a little more prepared to deal with any trouble, it's not as if the Russian "fans" have not done this before but clearly the police are not up to the task.

The referee at Spain vs Czech Republic is horribly in favor of Spain. Refuses to blow his whistle whenever Spain makes a foul.

Croatia captain Srna has left the tournament after his dad passed away.

Fantastic strike by Hoolahan, deserved for Ireland

Gutted for Clark, had to do something as he knew Larsson was behind him....

Very disappointed with the draw, that could have been won, will need a big result to get out of the group now IMO. :(

Pumped for Belgium-Italy.

Juventus back line with the exception of Darmian have been really solid but I can see Belgium committing more next half.

The Belgium golden generation is quickly reminding me of the England golden generation.

:dopey:

I know that feeling. EC 2008. We destroy Italy 3-0, France 4-1 and Romania 2-0. Only to be kicked out by Hiddink's Russia. We then go on to lose the WC final.
EC 2012. Group stage dropouts with 0 points. And the go to the WC to become 3rd. And then miss the 2016 EC all together.

I have to say, I'm liking this as a neutral spectator. No stress during games. No disappointment after a loss or knockout. We Dutch should do this more often. :D

Edit.

De Bruyne sucks donkeyballs tonight. Not even showing half of his skills.

I've never had to worry about an Irish golden generation being disappointing.:p

Also it's weird seeing Fellaini being the best player on a team, he's looking the most likely to make something happen for Belgium. They should bring on Dembele and Carrasco.

So isolated in that ring wing position. Needs to replace Witsel with Mertens and play De Bruyne behind Lukaku ASAP.
Took off Naingolan, who is better than Witsel, and kept De Bruyne right wing.

As an armchair expert, I could obviously do a better job than a lot of the coaches at the Euro's.:p

I'm going to say it.

De Bruyne needs to go for tonight. His entire body language shows that he isn't there tonight.

I took note of them in the qualifiers against us. No team chemistry, seems to be a team of individuals.

We still could be proven wrong and they could go far but it won't be at this tournament.
