Seeing it here too on Chromium/Linux Ubuntu.

The arrow is coming from http://cdncache1-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png and the link comes back to GTP.

I've only ever seen it on his posts though.

Ah, it's happening on the same user's posts.

A quick Google search of the URL of that green arrow icon shows that it's related to "CouponDropDown" malware. I suspect it's inserting that image and bolding/linking the relevant text in his WYSIWYG editor, then the formatting gets saved when he saves the post so everyone else sees it as well. Because it's using JavaScript on his machine to set the link, there's no harm or danger to anyone else.

@smasherguy1020, definitely scan your machine for malware.

I've dealt with it last year, it was a pain. I got an anti Malware finally and things have been running smoothly . Though Norton was the only thing that could run on my PC.
