UK Anniversary Edition prices

Hmmm, to terminate my pre-order with Amazon or not...

Pondering whether to take this. Deal with parents mean I will go halves on it, I can place a £10 deposit in store for it.
 
Going to wait a couple of days before placing my preorder...
GAME still haven't changed their listing to say that Apex II is not included...

Best of luck. My local stores haven't even heard of GT6, much less their group-exclusive preorder with its many features.

I've even been asked "Do you mean GTA5?". Since I regularly forget how to count, am blind to additional lettering in abbreviations and possess a time machine.

Well I went in today, the guy in front of me got the binder with list of releases out, bought up the GT6 page, showed both the editions on the page. Surprised your store hasn't heard of it :odd:
 
I've been trying for two months and it's not been in their binder yet - at either store!
 
Have the staff in store tried searching for Gran Turismo 6 instead of GT6. Maybe a mistake on staff typing wrong thing in, may have even typed in GTA6.
 
They have a physical ringbinder full of upcoming releases sent down from head office. I looked through them with the manager...
 
Quite a manual procedure then, would have thought it would have been computerised. If it is the latest list then maybe someone has taken out the GT6 page. Given the stature of Gran Turismo series, I would have thought it will be something that every store will have. Have you tried making them ring head office about it with the SKU number? How does process of ordering work in Game then, what do they get from the list that is important for ordering?
 
From the look of it, they just weren't bothered until at least after GTA5 and FIFA-whatever-the-new-one-is launches were out of the way - not to mention the next-gen console launches at about the same time.

If Furinkazen's local store now have the sheet in the binder, it might be time to go back for another visit...

The website's had it for ages, of course, but I can't spend reward cards on the website...
 
Little things like this scare me. Just give that notion that there maybe could be another small delay. I know it's probably stupid to think that but it's hard not to...
 
Good luck on your next visit Famine, maybe you might find someone who has heard of the game.

I kept hold of my Game Reward Card and still has the points earned from GT5 Signature Edition. Might hold out until price drop as last time I remember GT5 Signature Edition dropping down quite quickly in price after a month. Hopefully they do a good bundle deal with 500GB PS3 or reduce the price on this and maybe I will get the game on release.
 
I pre-ordered the anniversary edition at Game for £59.99, though I was under the impression that the APEX II was a book like in the GT5 version, is "game guide" a sneaky wording to suggest that it isn't a book this time?

I feel a little ripped off if that is the case.
 
@Famine. Placed a pre order and £10 deposit. They also said if you want to trade any games in when you go to buy it, that can knock the price down.

the only place I can find it is at GAME & gameshop.co.uk, but it seems you found it cheaper mate nice one 👍

GAME - £69,99
Gameshop - £64.99 (when it was in the store, not there any more)
amazon - £39.99 (normal edition only)
Argos - £41.99 (Normal edition only)
Tesco - £40 (normal edition only)
Shopto - £39.85 (Including Precision Pack & Torque Pack DLC)

I never used coolshopuk before, so I would shop around first before you buy it 👍

I pre ordered the standard one on Amazon uk in June and they have now told me that I will have it on dec 6th day of release, but at £35!! I get the Torque and Precision packs.

Looks like they put the price down for a short while for the benefit of those who preordered early (I ordered September). Maybe they'll do it again before launch. This is pasted directly from Game (order number removed)

Just was casually checking their website when I search gt6 anniversary editon and it now does not exist on their website???
I have the receipt and everything from when I ordered it, any help?

Log in to Gamestop (you must have opened an account when you ordered) and your order will show on your account. :) It doesn't show on the website because their allocation of AE GT6 has 'sold out' already.

Yeh litterally logged in today to check up on things, and it says Price: £59.99, then at the bottom, equates the total to £49.99.

Not complaining!

So is this the price for people who pre-ordered from time ago, or is it a site glitch if i place my order now? I was planning on going into the shops and doing it face to face, if the site saves me £10 then why not.

I don't know what the story is with Game and Gamestop over there in Britain but over here in Ireland the AE is exclusive to Gamestop not Game, I have mine pre ordered months ago.
