So people in America are not the only ones
Most of them are pretty well known in the UK. I can understand why Americans might not know most of them though, unless shows like Life on Mars and Spooks were big hits over there, or even aired over there.

On the subject of girls in the audience, the cutest one in episode 3 imo. :D

But what is with this girl at the start on the right. :yuck:

The Bentley film was good, the smoke off the tyres was crazy.

POP!

I love the bits between James and Jeremy during the news about the Dacia, always cracks me up. It's a shame to hear that there is only 3 more episodes, can't wait to see the GTR race and the Alfa 8C. 👍

There was also that tanning salon chick they talked to as well.

Info - Next Episode

Source: Top Gear

We're heading off to Japan, the land of unnecessarily complicated toilets, tiny trees and the world's most hotly anticipated new supercar - the Nissan GT-R. It's time for the latest of our patented epic races.

Jeremy will be getting behind the wheel of the Porsche-baiting Nissan, while Richard and James are to make good use of Japan's legendarily punctual public transport system.

Also, Clarkson hammers the impossibly pretty Alfa Romeo 8C around our test track, to see if its beauty is more than just skin-deep.

And, Fiona Bruce and Kate Silverton are our next pair of stars in a reasonably priced car.

Meh on the GT-R vs. Train thing, I'm not to terribly interested in that. But the Alfa...I can't wait to see that thing.

I'm not picking on you, Joey. You are by no means an isolated case - it seems to be a curiously American phenomenon (possibly because it's a marque not sold over there). But you are the most recent poster of this...

AlPHa is a Greek character. AlFa is an Italian car manufacturer.

 Oops. I guess it is an American thing though.

I learned from GT2.

I think that was done for a magazine piece. I don't have anything from that far back to check.

I just watched the new episode, and it was great. I don't think I have laughed so much at this show before. From Jeremy's reaction when the tire blew, to the Alfa challenges, and them messing with James May the entire way. It was, as a Brit might say, bloody brilliant.

Jeremy could have done a slightly better paint job to be honest the car looked really good as stock, the funniest thing was Hammond's seat.... he told the judge he had it professionally done

I looking forward to the Japan one next week, it will also be interesting to see Clarkson talking to Fiona Bruce after his bottom comment a while back! :sly:

Oh I almost forgot.. when they did those arty shots of the Bentley drifting and billowing smoke, does any one have any screen caps of that bit..... like when the camera was black and white and grainy?

Robin

WOW! Thank you very much Tangled Web 👍

Those pics really make the car look dangerous, like some vicious animal! :sly: The black and white ones particularly look amazing and pic 8 also stands out... they would make great PSP wallpapers.

I would rep you if we still had the rep system, oh well, invisible rep! :)

Robin

Definitely great pics! 👍

 @ the traffic jam on the track. Man the selection of cars was hilarious. Gotta say those Alfas were hawt.

Can't wait for this Sundays episode! GTR vs Bullet Train! :D

Apparently the GTR will make a double appearence, this next episode for the race, and probably a review later on.

No problem Robin, always happy to help where ever I can. :D

I too am really looking forward to GTR, Bullet Train race. Really enjoyed all the past races. The Alfa 8C will be sweet too, it should be an awesome episode. 👍

Yeah I've heard that. Not sure if I'm particularly keen on the whole idea.

Apparently it's to do with the fact that the Nissan restricts itself it knows it isn't on a racing track. So they take it to Fuji Speedway or something. I'm kind of "Meh" about it all, I don't see why they need to do 2 reviews of it, the DB9 and 612 never got 2 reviews...

Yeah, I don't see why it can't be an 'inbuilt' (?) review into the race. That's what they usually do anyway.

If it's a review for the actual "touring" aspect of the car (the race) and the "track" performance (on the TG track) then I can perfectly understand why they'll do it twice. You can't tell 100% what the car will be like on the road and vice versa.

They didn't do it with the Veyron or the SLR to my knowledge, so why do it with the GT-R? Yes they've featured the other two car on multiple occasions for different things but never two reviews.
