Typically I fast forward through them because I'm not familiar enough with British stars to really care, but I thought I would watch this because they were both fairly attractive. I liked them and thought it was rather entertaining.

Yeah, I only watch the SIARPC if I have heard of them, or have seen them before on TG, Fiona Bruce was on in the Peel P50 thing so I really wanted to see how she reacted to Jezza's comment.
 
The Celebrities on this series haven't been as big as on previous series.

and I think there will be a collection CD of pure pornographic pictures displayed on the show just like routine top gear OST cds :p

Jeremy and James recently bought themselves a couple of classic luxury limos. Jeremy plumped for a Mercedes 600 'Grosse', the preferred transportation of the world's most discerning despots. James, on the other hand, went for the full 'Tarbuck' and filled his driveway with a Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupe.

To see if buying either of these cars was a good idea, we've set the presenters a couple challenges that'll see them take to both the track and the streets of London.

Also, as Jeremy found out in last week's show, it's almost impossible to discover the Nissan GT-R's limits on the road. So this week Clarkson will be unleashing the big Datsun on a Japanese race circuit.

And, a pair of dragons get their claws on our reasonably priced car.
 
The next episode doesn't sound all that thrilling to be honest.

I think there was an episode of Family Guy where Peter said she looked like a foot.

About the GT-R race, I didn't like it all that much. The car was awesome and everything, but I felt they focused too much on the race and not enough on the car. I expect a very good review next week (can't wait to see Fuji!), but I wonder if they'll be able to run a hot lap around the test track since the Japanese models limit the top speed unless they're on a known race track (unless the car's out in the UK yet?).

I think Nissan will not put a top speed limit on the Nissan GT-R on the Top Gear test track, since people in Japan already know about Top Gear.

That is quite possibly the funniest thing Jezza has ever said – I was laughing so hard. Absolutely perfect joke and absolutely perfect context.
 
I love Top Gear. Great show, with great commentators, and amusing car reviews.

I'm just wondering, why is the Koenigsegg on the Top Gear Power Lap board spelled like KOOEENIGSEGGGGGG (or something to that effect)?
 
Because it's a hard car to spell (even I can't spell it :lol:).

The Koenigseggs on the board have ther names mocked, where the CC8S is dubbed 'Koenigseggenoeosineoseg-a-Viking' with the 'Viking' section mocking how it comes from Sweden, and the CCX 'Koenigseggegkenegonisogoenekosenoseningoegg'.

What was that all about?? They spent about 5mins reviewing the best car of the year! They spent longer arguing about the Opel Agila.
I wished they'd go back to the way it use to be. Like that bit at the end with the Daihastu, it was funny, but what had that got to do with cars?
 
They spent a lot longer with the GT-R last week, they arn't going to spend another 15-20 mins this week on the same car.
