Do people have nothing better to do than complain?

It's a British thing. Unconstructive criticism is practically a national sport.

Customer references? ;)

Ah, I wondered what that form was that came through the door this morning.

You just know that of all the people who complain, most (more than 2/3rds) won't have seen the footage on question and are just jumping on the bandwagon.

If anyone's interested, the trucker Stig was probably Stuart Oliver, this year's champion in Class A of the British Truck Racing Championship. It was his No.9 truck drifting at the beginning of the show.

Has anyone got Clarkson's new DVD yet? I have it on my computer at home and I think I'm going to give it a watch tonight once I get done at the glass shop (yes I'm finally getting that huge crack taken care of).

In the series preview, 1.07 into the video the Zonda F sounds UNBELIEVABLE! I can't wait for that episode.

A showdown between Zonda Roadster F and Veyron? Bit unfair? I'd still take the Zonda.

I think its to show how the Bugatti makes even the fastest of supercars look err slow? ;)

I certainly think the Zonda has the better looks though.

Sure the ECP can complain, but the joke wasn't aimed at them therefore should keep their noses out of it.
Exactly... it's a joke about truckers, not prostitutes.

I thought it was pretty funny, for what it was.. as an intentional, over-the-top joke by Jeremy Clarkson. That's what he does.

The gag was more about Peter Sutcliffe (what with Clarkson being a Yorkshireman and journalist hack in Yorkshire at the time of the Ripper murders and trial), but the Ipswich murders certainly didn't help the reputation...

Just watched it today, and boy oh boy how much better the original TG is compared to TGAU. :D:tup:
The part where he did the GT2 review was totally hilarious.....👍 Too bad Jeremy is too bias towards Lambo and when he burned the GT2 laptime, Richard looks pissed. The part on the lorries were quite good as well, especially the part when they had to do an uphill start (Richard actually sacrificed his attempt when they brought out Oliver) Also noticed when Jeremy reminded James about the Dacia, he totally forgotten about it.......
Yeah, a lot of great segments on the show that surpass any of the TGAU episodes so far.

The semi-truck "race" was epic indeed, it had my brother and I nearly in tears from laughing so hard. I'm definitely looking forward to next-week, Jeremy + ZR1 = EPIC.

If you havn't watched it yet, it's not bad. It's a good way to entertain yourself for 1.5 hours.

I'd take the ZR1 though lol

I'd have to say that this episode didnt make me laugh as much as it should have lol It was a documentary after all.

The cops were all over Top Gear and dont forget Bruce Willis

I want that Challenger simply for it's awesome sound.

Get me one whilst you're thee. I'd almost drop a beer for it! ;)

I think they should drop Star In a Reasonably priced car. Lost all interest now that they are mainly doing repeat stars. Get an interesting new segment on the show, needs some sort of revitalising.

Will Young?

Havent heard from him in ages lol

He homosexual or something??? I never knew until today or fogot

Yea the Star in Reasonably Priced Car does take up a bit. It depends who's on stage

Hehe, not bad. Didn't laugh as much as last week, admittedly, but hey.

If I'm honest, that is the bit where I go and put the kettle on.

lol same here or a toilet break, although Will was entertaining as a guest unlike most others.

Loved the bit where Jeremy made a public apology for the GT2, totally fooled me.

The top speed on the salt flats was boring :-\

LOL the apology was really funny it got m fooled.

It should have been drag races instead.

No burnouts? That would have been fun.

Pretty good episode, 8/10 from me. The 500 review was kind of meh for me, I just wanted to see the American special. The news was OK, but I would've liked to see it a bit longer like usual. The SIARPC, I didn't even bother watching it since it's always boring, and I never have seen or heard of them anyway. Did Hammond actually buy the Challenger for himself, or did they buy it just for the episode? The American special bit was alrite, but I was expecting more laughter.

That episode made me happy. :) Love that they enjoyed themselves and caused a bit of mischief.

If I'm honest, that is the bit where I go and put the kettle on.
Is that a figure of speech, or do you Brits (even young Brits) really do that?
