Oh. That'd make sense. I only noticed it when I caught a glimpse of it right at the end. Didn't get enough of a look to tell which it was.
 
I think Top Gear has become the very thing that they're bemoaning Lamborghini of becoming under the stewardship of Audi.

It's become too popular for it's own good and therefore generic, bland and boring.

The programme needs an injection of originality that it won't receive because they wouldn't dare to mess with such a 'popular' money making franchise.

It should've stopped being made a least a series ago.
 
I thought today's episode was fairly good, if nothing spectacular; and the first part of the Patagonia special was excellent. I think Top Gear peaked and then declined a few years ago, but if anything it's been on the up for the past few series.

I struggle to see how Top Gear is generic, bland, or boring. The last part is purely subjective, but for the other two I struggle to see how it qualifies. There's nothing else quite like it on the TV and certainly little that is as well made, and they keep trying new things, even if they don't work, so I struggle to see how it's bland.

Each to their own though.
 
After so many YouTube driving Fails with Russian drivers I was expecting someone to crunch their vehicle
- But Hammond crashed so badly he smashed the gearbox clean off. At least he was able to stagger away from the wreck.
 
Next Epidode;
It's the highly anticipated Australian Road Trip Episode! Keifer Sunderland is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

The episode I'm most looking forward to is definitely this one, this could be the best episode of the last 3 series, as long as they don't over do it.

The cars they chose are really interesting!
 
I liked that actually, was a decent episode. Knew they'd bring up the Huracan being not exciting (which reviewer hasn't) and the race was enjoyable enough, didn't really care for SIARPC (who is that guy) but over all a good episode.
 
I'm pretty sure that the review of the Huracan was the same as their review of the Gallardo. Decent car but not exciting enough to be a Lamborghini.
 
Pretty good episode last night, laughed at The Stig on public transport during the race, and you've got to admire Ed Sheeran's guts during that lap!

This might be a stupid question but is that Twizy an actual car??
 
Well, it cant do 0-60 and it is similar to the GWhiz, which is an electric quad-cycle or something, forgive me for my ignorance and lack of knowledge on cars...

This felt a bit more negative though, Richard really looked dissapointed and not the usual I don't like this car for (insert stupid reason).

Also that bike was the highlight for me, never knew these things can get so expensive but it weighed less than a kilo :eek:

Heavy quadricycle, the Urban 45 trim is a light quadricycle.

This was something I just couldn't believe. I thought, as a stretch, maybe the frame. And yes, frames are now down to under a kilo. Bike as a whole is 6-7 kilos, and can't be less by racing regulations.

I was pleasantly surprised by the episode... which may have the unfortunate side-effect of raising my expectations for the rest of the series. Let's hope I'm not disappointed...
 
Did anyone notice they wear a Texas badge? Wonder why.

Also. again, V6 in Ford GT, JEREMY! Surprised they didnt point it out after their V12 hassle.

Yes. And I couldn't stop laughing. I genuinely thought he was going to say something no one knows.

Interesting comparison - and not one without some merit... that said, I'd go further and say that it is all relative... the Huracan is still a Lamborghini, after all - it maybe doesn't compare favorably to past glories, but it's still a fantastic car. Top Gear has been the same tried and trusted formula for years now, but it's still one of the best shows on TV... even a relatively poor episode of Top Gear is an hour well spent.
 
The Chilean flag badges was a nod to the help from the Chileans getting them out of their sticky situation back in Argentina.
