Anyone know if we are going to get the new episodes on BBC America on Monday? If not anyone know the time frame or do I have to "acquire" it from other sources.

As I recall, aren't we moving into season 9 now? My guess is that once we "catch up" they will play the new episodes... Then again, I may be wrong...
 
I'm sure it takes them a little while to convert a PAL broadcast into an NTSC but I don't really know.

Nope. They’re doing the tail-end of season 8 and the first two episodes of season 9 until 20 October (which is as far as the TV Guide goes). I wouldn’t expect season 10 for another couple months at the bare minimum.

Ah ok, I guess I will just have to watch it some other way since I don't really want to wait a couple of months to see it. Just another question though, is it legal to download the episode from say www.finalgear.com? I mean it isn't shown in the US so I can't see it being illegal but I don't know.

I'm excited for tonight's episode, I'm curious to see the race against the Eurofighter.
 
It's not legal, but you don't download directly from finalgear. They just post the torrent's link.
 
I don't think the Bugatti is in tonights episode, tonight it's the Aston V8 Vantage, Lambo Gallardo and a Posrche (I think) and there's that mad VW Golf concept with the mid mouted 650bhp engine.
 
I so want to see this Golf in action. :drool:

My TV is primed and ready just.... err....still 20 minutes to go, maybe I am a little eager...
 
What a brilliant episode! I must admit those guys are just getting more comical every time!
 
Tbh I thought the humour was a bit too much comedy and not enough wit this episode. I loved some of the roads they went on though, that Stelvios pass s a road I've heared of before.

wth happened to hamster? Looks like he just got out of the bath or got electrocuted.
Really feel sorry for James, That Aston must have been pure torture when he should have really enjoyed the trip like the other two.
 
That Stelvios pass was a beautiful looking road. Good episode to start off the series. The preview at the start looked BRILLIANT! I can't wait until the next episode.

Oh I enjoyed it, the 5th gear digs were typical TopGear, they just seemed to act a bit sillier than normal.

Yeah, true. I didn't think they'd ever actually say that though. I agree various bits where a bit OTT, but it should calm down. A bit.
 
I thought it was relatively calm compared to their usual selves. The 5th Gear digs were only there as 5th Gear do them all the time and of course 5th Gear then thinks there funny...which there not. However TG did make them funny.

I thought it was a great first episode. Those roads were all drop dead gorgeous, if I had one of those cars, part from the Aston, then I wouldn't be talking right now. I would be moving there.

The W12 car review was...alright. I think there was always something back in my head saying "it's just a concept", making me think that of course it won't be particularly good.

I'm looking forward to every episode of this series as it looks to be jam packed of good stuff, which is what I like to hear.
 
I don't think this episode was that good.
The only thing they did was the road and car test, the news wasn't that funny and didn't contain much really and the interview with that woman(don't know her) was boring.
OK, the road test was nice to watch (except seeing may almost naked), but the episode didn't feel filled enough.
And what's up with Hamster's new look? Is he in a midlife crisis or what?

Was an OKish epsiode, I liked seeing the preview of what they have to come this season (the return of the toyBOTA!! :lol:) But Clarkson really went overboard with the accusing fifth gear of burning down thier prop building, I dont even know if he can really do that, BBC is going to be annoyed, Hammond looks really odd, his hair and the way he dresses has changed and now he kinda looks like a teenager. All they did was drive around europe again! they never really bother to go anywhere else although in the preview it looked like they went somewhere far away, cant remember where...

Well I left my home computer on to get the episode while I'm gone today so hopefully I can watch it tonight. I just wish BBC America would air the new episode on Sunday or Monday night. Maybe when my parents switch over to satellite TV we can get the actually BBC although I have no idea whether or not they offer it.

Erm...No. If you looks carefully at the preview video which can be seen on TopGear.com its actually a Nissan. Hammond also had to choose a different version of his orginal vechicle as it would not be fit for tough sea useage.

Can't a famous person change his looks now-a-days? Lol. Nice to see one of them actually looking fairly trendy...for once. Wouldn't mind that suit-jacket he was wearing...probably costs a lot mind you...shut up I'm fashion conscious.

Anyway, episode wise...was an all right start to the series. Loved the part where Hamster and Captain Slow got right outta their trees for Clarkson's choice of road. Other that and their usual Stig introductions...nothing special. Can't wait to see Clarkson in that piddly little blue thing that can fit through office doors.
 
Didn't see it so I'm gonna have to browse Bittorrent now. :)
