It's funny you say this NOW...

Yes, and quite a few other times prior to that in this thread.

Torrenting TV programmes = illegal. Talking about torrenting TV programmes = discussing illegal activities.

Don't. Do. It.

Yes it is. They've signed a Licence Agreement with Top Gear. Thus viewing Top Gear on GT-TV is legal.

At me? hmm... please show me. This is news to me.

I'm sorry? We need to individualise the Acceptable Use Policy now?

The legality of downloading Top Gear episodes has been discussed many times in this thread - from YouTube to torrents and Finalgear. Feel free to read this thread and you will notice this.

G.T
It was one place below a wet lap in the previous 911 Turbo. I wouldn't say it was too bad.

I was really bummed that they didn't have a time for the M5, that was the whole point of the segment.

Great lap by Hamilton. Didn't look particularly fast to me through some of the corners, but it definitely was.
Same thing with Jennifer Saunders last week - Didn't look very fast, but fast enough for 2. spot...

When you look at the time of Hamiltons lap again, you will see that he was only 1 milli second behind Mansell. So, if Hamilton was not driving on a wet track, he would have beaten Mansells time easily!

He was 1 tenth of a second behind, not 1 milli second. I really do hope they do get him back when it's dry, he has the potential to beat the Stigs time let alone Mansells.

One more reason for the Stig to hate Hamilton

I loved it when Clarkson asked Lewis whether he wanted someone useless as his team mate next year and Lewis responded by offering him a job 👍

Top Gear
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines - this is going to be a big one.

Remember the biofuel crop we planted last series? Well, it's harvest time down on Top Gear farm and we'll be making the most our environmentally friendly jungle juice as we enter the Britcar 24-hour endurance race at Silverstone.

James travels to Budapest for an audience with this season's must-have motoring accessory: the Fiat 500. Meanwhile, Jeremy will be driving a big, shouty 600-horsepower road-racer from relative supercar newcomer Ascari.

And our star in a reasonably priced car is establishment-baiting actor Keith Allen. Best warm up our Swear-o-matic bleep machine then.

Sounds like its gonna be a goodun!

Imagine having a full grid of those beemers where you can race against.
It would be like a real life GT experience

 So true...

Going a bit off topic but did anyone see that program 'Oz and James's Big Wine Adventures' today? James May was the presenter, it was really entertaining. Top Gear script doesnt do much for him.

I thought this last episode was rather weak, I don't have a big interest in F1 and it was just uninteresting. I like it when they actually test cars or do stupid challenges. Oh well I guess every episode can't be a smash hit.

Also is there anyway to get Top Gear legally in the states? I mean does the BBC sell NTSC DVD's or doesn't anyone get the BBC on their TV? I have BBC America which is lame.

Top Gear is sometimes on BBC America. I've seen it a few times. Maybe five times on T.V. I mostly watch it on YouTube. On T.V it has irregular hours and stuff. Suckss.

It's on at 8 and 9 pm on Monday nights as well as Saturday and sometimes Sunday afternoons on BBC America, but they are older episodes.

You want it legally?

Well, I know Clarkson's DVDs are on sale here in the US through Amazon and the BBC. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Top Gear DVDs drop eventually, although, you never know.

...I'm interested to see if the seasons end up lining up here in the future, we're nearly at the midpoint of season nine now aren't we (on BBC America)?

I really liked this one, the Hammond in the F1 car wasn't great, but Clarkson bit talking to Lewis was good as was his lap. I thought James Blunts interview was funnier than most as well. I don't like to see a stupid challenge every episode, they are good fun but they could easilly be over used.

I skip the interviews because most of the time I have no idea who those people are, I know James Blunt but didn't really care. It doesn't always have to be challenges, road tests are fine.

A late post maybe but for what it is worth, I really enjoyed last episode, more so than previous ones.

I never expected the Ascari to be as fast as it was, fabulous car.

The race at Silverstone was great, I cringed when I saw the TVR crash though :ouch:.

Great episode.
