That's my favorite episode of the season so far and easily top 10 overall. The "rescue", the trucks, and the wilderness. Just awesome.

I am glad that TG finally got to test some 'murican trucks in a place where they make sense. It was cool to see them warming up to their machines and getting to see what they can really be capable of. I've been hoping to see Clarkson in a Raptor for years, tbh, let alone one with a supercharger.

tl;dr five maple leafs out of five.

Best episode so far! The RC F review was great, summed up the car well, the rescue was great and that Velociraptor was just awesome. SIARPC was pretty good as well

It was a good episode - although by far and away the highlight of the show (and perhaps the season so far) was Richard Hammond's impersonation of Lorraine Kelly  Infact, it might even be Hammond's best moment of the show.

That offroading looked like heaps of fun. I don't understand why they put a stock Silverado vs a Hennessy Raptor, though. Seems pretty unfair.

I loved his ranting impressions of Jeremy and James too.

In fairness, I don't think they were really trying to compare which of the two they liked the most, the point was more to show how much car it's possible to have for the money.

I knew that Clarkson was going to hate the RC-F because I knew how much he loves the LF-A. From what I've read, his thoughts on the RC-F are pretty similar to most other motoring journos.

When Clarkson reached Hammond, i would have rather had Clarkson open the window and say:
"Sorry, but you're gonna have to wait for James May, we have a race, loser picks you up." and THEN drive off.

Haha well so was I but it was still funny as heck!

Pretty good episode again (this season has been good actually) don't know anything about pickups so refreshing, I really wanted the RCF to be good too (I like how it looks) but it got spanked badly, The X-files woman was fun.

Nice to see a genuine performance from Hammond for a change. But, I actually thought that whole segment wasn't as good as it could have been, seemed a bit hurried... given that the RC-F review was more about the LF-A they could probably have spend less time on that instead.

Gillian Anderson. Yes, yes I would.

I actually thought it was a bit boring, we had a review of a 4 year old car that has already featured in TG heavily before, Clarkson drove it in America I think and it's been round the track.
And then we had the pickup review which was almost entirely taken up by Hammond shouting and the other two farting around. It got a lot better when they finally drove the trucks, but it could have been done a lot better.

The show has been broadcast. It would be reckless for anyone to view this thread without having seen it first, surely?
Thank you, spoilers are fairly pointless, there's little reason to visit the thread other than to talk about the episode, coming in blind is asking for trouble.

Football match in trailer is between France and Germany (or Belgium?) so although it would be good to see, I don't know how regularly they will do these crossovers.

I really want to see them take the piss out of British cars and their drivers in retaliation for the disastrous second half of Clarkson and May's Peugeot "tribute".
