I don't understand why you quoted me, I'm not the one that started the guessing game.

You mate are pretty much guessing in this topic from the start.Want me to point out to you how many times you did that?Examples from your posts that actually more of a guess and with zero evidence:

It would not surprise me if the OP simply got a generic message with no specifics at all, that's how these things seem to go down with online games. No reason, no chance to appeal, just go away cause we said.

Have a nice day :)

It sounds like garbage to me, once games start doing this it usually ends up in a train wreck. Please don't forget that the penalty systems sucks, that all of the driver/safety ratings systems suck, the game is full of holes and glitches.

Ban the man  he probably didn't do diddly.

I didn't bring up Destiny and punishment for bad internet connections. The point though would be what about those who get caught in the cross fire and are not at any fault?

The reason is simple, just randomly banning people is not going to help the problem and it doesn't matter if they are guilty or not.

The player base is much to large to be able to ban all of those who deserve it, some cheaters will not be punished. It is also likely that innocent people will catch the hammer's slam. To me those two things equate to random, there is a better word for it I'm sure but did you really think I meant literally pulling names out of a hat?

Sure, sounds good to me.

Ah, excellent. Someone has arrived that knows exactly what this guy did, so has saved us 8 pages of discussion. Thanks very much.

Sorry, I should have clarified.

I wasn't accusing anyone or even replying to the OP directly. I didn't mean it to come out as saying "You cheated and so you deserved it".

I just mean generally, you can't defend people who abused the exploit by saying they deserved a warning or that they spent money on the game so they have the right to do that.

More on a general scope than the person directly.

I would love to see someone foolish enough to try to Sue Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. in a court of law because their account was banned for breaking the terms of the service agreement which I can guarantee Sony does have hard substantial evidence to support their action.

I cannot believe some of the peeps on this thread lol...consumer protection ha ha ha ha .... if you breach T& C's you have invalidated any contract you have with Sony Polyphony Digital particularly when it comes to online services ...engage your brain before running your mouth he he.. Or to be more specific know what you are taking about perhaps chaps. Contracts don't have to be written or signed to be enforceable by law.

Or send a gurkha up there with your flag :sly:

Oh ye of little faith...:banghead:

these threads are too long lol I just scan for pictures/videos then see what's been reached by the last two comments - kind of hoping they've been reading the thread.
I guess I'm cheating :boggled:
Nah, that's just Maggiore Turn 4 thread-reading limits.

@JulesDennis: thank you for being so patient with LennyB. You used all valid arguments.

We dont have the prove that OP has or has not been cheating. But we have the prove that he has been banned/suspended because he said so himself. That is enough to start with.

So clearly he is the one that needs to start showing some valid arguments that it was false. He could say I am aware of the pit glitch but I did not do this. I am aware of the skin-rules but did not do this. I am aware of the tyre-regeneration but did not do this. He is clearly not saying anything like this so he pretty much is not aware of these things. Clearly he did not care about this forum and game before getting banned. Seems to me that this part of his actions are at least not in his advantage.

Second of all he is asking for a warning which seems strange. Asking for a warning when you did nothing wrong is already suspect to me. It looks like you did some things but you did not know it was ban-worthy. Or you just thought cheating is normal. If that is the case, I am even more happy. The less of these people the better.

I am trully happy that PD is banning people and am convinced that if it would be trully wrong people can solve this individually. But I would bet my PlaySeat that OP is banned for all the right reasons.

Conclusion: we are all second guessing, but the clear fact is that he has been banned. This is a fact, so it is not PD who needs to start validating but the OP who needs to do some effort to feel sorry for him.

Untill then PD - OP = 1 - 0

Well I liked your first postings (seriously) but clearly JulesDennis out argumented you on almost every issue up to the point that you were not even reacting anymore. But still kept going on.

You did not do anything wrong. It was a little bit too much I guess.

Sorry for that, tbh I don't really remember all the conversation but it's all good. 👍

I can understand where you are coming from in a sense with your argument.

I also can from a personal point understand that realizing the different cultures across the world the safe play would be to not upload a decal or create a livery that could be deemed to have sexual, racial, or bad language (curse words) as a part of that livery.

From the real world motorsports I watch the liveries applied to the cars are usually representative of the sponsors whom through either financial or supplying products support the race team in their racing venture so they in fact "buy" the advertisement space they are allotted on the car.

I do not think I have ever seen a rl race car that had **** YOU written across the rear of the car.
I do not think I have ever seen images that would be considered pornographic on a car in any major motorsports competition either.

If people would adhere to guidelines of creating a livery that would very possibly be one that would be seen on a real world race car instead of trying to use a livery to make a statement or show how clever they can be then you would eliminate a large part of what you consider a fall through the cracks type.

Again people are responsible for what they do whether it is a tire glitch, intentionally ramming people within a race, sending another player nasty messages or even producing a livery on a car.

Use some common sense and I would pretty much guarantee you will not as a responsible user of the service find your account on the wrong side of the ban hammer.

You as a player are ultimately responsible for everything that transpires on your PSN and GTS account!

Not Sony, not PD, ONLY YOU!

I agree its about taking personal responsibility its your console your game your contract with Sony (via PSN and the fair play and rules of conduct therein). If you had a job in a bank and you were caught with your fingers in the till you can't blame the bank for putting temptation in your way ...I've never heard such arse backwards logic in all my life ...cheaters will cheat end of story so if they get banned - tough - Crime don't pay lolz
