That's were bumper cam comes in. While far from perfect, it's actually a decent view. Just think of how big an actual windscreen is. A 32' TV isn't even big enough to replicate most windscreens so why would you clutter your TV up any more than you had to?
Anyone instead of moaning thought of turning the exposure up?!
Yes, might be annoying... but hardly worth ranting over.
Agreed 👍
Don't like it, I'd love to see a lot of you do better...
simply check your tv settings and your ps3 settings! full-rgb compatible tv? superwhite support by tv? deepcolor support?
open the added picture on your ps3 and setup your tv/ps3. if you can see all from 1-10 try gt6 again!
Yeah and PD will just know the problems people are having with the game! You do realize that the vast majority of updates and patches released is in response to user feedback, good or bad? Feedback from forums like GTPlanet, feedback like this thread.
Why is it that when somebody has a problem with a game due to an update (I don't know if this the case here, I haven't updated yet), there are usually half a dozen posts spring yelling to stop moaning? Nobody has the right to tell anyone to stop moaning, untill they have paid for the 'moaners' copy of the game!
A video game means less than 0 in the grand scheme of things, but yet we are all here wasting our precious time discussing it. Anyone sees a problem that, to him, makes this game unplayable he has the right to share it, this is after all the place to do that.Half of this website is full of repeated whinging and cursing, most of the time over little niggles that really don't matter in the grand scheme of things.

You can't blame them for being pissed with GT6 mostly no?I haven't got a problem with sharing and discussing the issues. What I have a problem with is the attitude of many members. That's all.
I'm sorry, I hope that last sentence is 100% sarcastic.
I know there are issues with GT6. There are many issues with every single GT game. But I don't get the attitude of many members on this site. As soon as they find a little problem, they're on their keyboards sprouting 🤬
Just bring up an issue, discuss it in a reasonably adult manner, and leave it as that. Half of this website is full of repeated whinging and cursing, most of the time over little niggles that really don't matter in the grand scheme of things.
My attitude still stands. I'll 'moan' and 'whinge' at this game as I find faults until you or anyone else pays me back the £60 I paid. Then I'll stay silent.
Everything's gotten brighter for me.![]()
Faster load times for digital, and the jumping at the start of races is really reduced, and the jumping at the end of races is gone.
I'll leave now then. Cos I'm clearly not going to be able to talk you out of insanity.
Research what a game will have, and what will be coming later, and buy said game. Then moan at things that are 'missing' (that you knew about).
Yeah, makes sense to me.![]()
Yeah, that buffer stutter has gone from about 2 sec at start to about .200 at start. Maybe less. There's no stutter at the end anymore. When you say jumping, are you talking about just before the lights go green on a rolling start, it's as if the throttle is getting goosed or the momentarily buffering stutter (I've a digital download/install too). If it's the latter has it stopped doing that if your on a time trial and you go off course?
Yep, it is tinted. My problem is not with the dash, its with the world outside the car. It almost looks like the front windscreenis tinted. Really dark and hard to see, even in full daylight. I ddon't have this problem with any other view.
I can attest to the tinting... My Rx-7 has a tinted back window, but all other windows are "clear."Yep, it is tinted.
In GT6 PD seemed have gone down the line of actually having the windows tinted for real from within the cabin. In GT5 I think they basically didn't bother.
Thing is, some cars have more of a tint than others. Hondas seem to have the most tint in my experience.
Somebody posted earlier in the thread saying that there was tint/darkness in GT5 and then there wasn't in an earlier GT6 version. This is not the case.
It is possible that that the EV +\- setting has been reset since the update for some people. It's the old "safari seems snappier now after the update" scenario...

This Could be more to do with the new lighting model and the fact that you are much more likely to be on a track now where the light is not 100% full sun making what you are seeing inside the cabin darker. So how does having a tinted screen makes the dials darker ?
Lol, "too dark to drive"Before 1.02, I experienced this darker cockpit effect on quite a few cars. In 1.02, the effect is much more noticable, in particular on the dashboard.
The strange thing is, not all cars have this problem to the same extent. For instance, it is almost non-existant on the Scirocco N24. Yet the normal Scirocco is almost too dark to drive now.
Have to say, I'm not doubting the OP's concerns, but the in-car driver view cam, looks absolutely fine to me on my game. Even night racing the dashboard is completely fine. Infact, since 1.02, it looks better to my eyes, but different tv's maybe ? My in-game light setting is set to " 0 " by the way.
I, of course, have only used a few cars today, so maybe i've got lucky so far ?
Some cars had and still have darker cocpits.I didnt see any change.
Driving at Willow Springs a bright color car (really) at 12:00 ,its undrvable on any view except cocpit view.
Too much flare ,and everything is so bright I cant play![]()
Well. To be honest, I used a standard car and it was dark. With a premium though, it was perfectly okay imo. Maybe it wasn't, but I haven't seen any cockpit view in cars being dark, none. But I must admit, your post was so funny.are you using a standard car?
