yet it had patches that requires internet............................... Your the one that needs to check the world outside, almost every game today gets DLC and patches, even the Ps3 itself gets updated onlione, move out of the dark ages,.
It has but good news is never heard too often!
good for you, doesnt change the fact a lack of online system, lack of online restrictions at launch, lack of Xp/Credits, lack of damage, lack of a-spec events, no match making, etc....

What a guy are you? You call me a troll, but you open a complete new thread to critisise PD (was closed), then you opened a new thread were you thanked PD (was closed for non-productive and opposed content) and now you are dissing again.
Yeah you are right but maybe the will bring an new version out in end of 2011?? Because if each update will have 500MB many people will need an new harddisk...
Also why is this patch called 1.05? Did I miss the 1.04??
And what is with leaderboards now? are they in?
I still think PD is smuggling cars in with these huge updates. Adding a couple of modes and unlocking cars we already have in game doesn't use that much space.
56 minutes left..56 minutes left...ATT sucks with internet.
It looks like PD is really going to be beefing up GT via these updates. Kaz even mentioned he want's to update the game at a pace of one update every month.
At this rate, this time next year this game is going to be a completely different monster, an evolution of what we have now... All of the people who whined and bxtched about the game are about to look real stupid.
The critical difference being that Facebook is free and Gran Turismo is not, hence the greater expectations. It's like Facebook, when it first started it was a lot less than what it is now. But since there wasn't really a precedent to compare it too people just ate it up bit by bit. Now if you were to imagine GT5 as being the first Gran Turismo of this new age then you're on to something.
This is the beginning of a very, very, long journey.
Just bought an 8gb flash drive to back up my save data
When I checked the system it said the GT5 save data was 6.5gb
Get yourself an ethernet cable and plug your PS3 directly to your router or directly to your PC.
Hmm, no, it's probably because of the bitchers and moaners that it's being patched in the first place. I can see Sony preferring to let their cash cow start work on the next iteration soon. But they have enough sense to fix the game first (keeping fingers crossed).

are you still playing? are you happy they're releasing patches/updates frequently and listening to the fans?
If we're lucky, PD is going to keep updating GT5 throughout its lifetime - My favorite PC FPS game, Team Fortress 2 is 3 years old now and Valve keeps updating it ALL THE TIME (FOR FREE). We can only hope that PD will be doing the same for us.
This is probably the game data, not the save data !!

Dont lie to me mannn!!!! Can anybody confirm this!? If this is true looks like the "grind" is over and done with...
40% 10 minutes left...
It's kinda obvious sony pressured PD to release the game for christmas. All of this stuff they are adding now was most likely in the process of development.
??
My ps3 wireless worked frine past 30 feet...............

Ill check. But when I access the PS3 save data, go to GT5 and press triangle and go to info. It says the save data is 6.5gb
