My Baby.

hey, that is a stout impala dude!! Dont paint it :D I like patina on cars, it makes them look with certai character. but if you really gonna paint it, then I think a COMPLETELY black look would look kickass. then, the Cragar SS wheel choice is cool, but, it would look even better if they were big, 17 inch at least, and then you get the car sittin LOW. and I mean it, LOW. then, some minor body changes, like repacing the stock grille unit with some horizontal stainless chromed bars, and making the three slot tailamps fit into one big slot each side of the car, and maybe even smoothing out the decklid (I mean, take the license recess offa it... if it does live there, I dont remember), shaving the door handles, but letting the chrome intact, so it will have a bit of sparkle, and trimming the bumpers off unnecesary weight and parts so they would look better... it would look really elegant, and with 420 horses, it would scoot. I know it may be a little out of hand, but what else could you do to it? making a statement in such a car would be great :D

egh, sick mind... :dopey:

wrong too. no 80s montes were done with big blocks. in fact, no car in the 80's got a 454. those were reserved for trucks and pickups. the biggest stuff you could get in the 80s from GM was a 350.

Cano

what you was was NOT stock.

 i belong to the a few monte carlo clubs i think i know what i am talking about.. in 1987 and 88 they had some monte carlo ss' with big block 454s... it was like a special option package... i know this cuz i have seen 3 in one spot and two were stock.. all the paper work was there. Ialso saw one on ebay that i wanted.

Nice ride there Lt.Doomsday and welcome on in ;) .

Hey get aload of this me and ma dad took his AC in today to a place called Japvillage.com . We just recently bought a 300ZX there really cheaply, and so we went to pick it up today. Though the thing is my dad needs a new exhaust for the Cobra, so he took it in for work and we drove the Nissan home. Anyway the bloke who owns it said apparantly some big rap/hip-hop artist wants to shoot his music video in the garage, this Friday. They also asked for 9 sports cars to be there. Considering they mainly have RX-7's and Supras and Skylines to have a Cobra is a new experiance. But anyway the bloke asked my dad if they could use the AC for the rap video  . My dad was mad enough to say he'd think about it. I mean they're not exactly gonna drive it just have it in teh background. So I'm on my way to convince him to use it. He's 75% of the way there. But if he says yes....
Anywayz my story for the day. Also don't ask me which arist as I can't remember :p .

i'd be kinda weary of letting them use the car in a rap video.you don't want a chick to sit on the car and put a dent in it.i've seen on one of those court case tv{i think judge judy} were this model was doing a photoshoot on some ricer's Golf and she put a big dent in the hood.

me and my dad have plans to paint the car grey and get the bumper rechomed

Yea I agree. That's the only thing I thought of that would drive him to explode. For some reason the paint it's painted in is a very soft paint and scratches increadibly easily, forget about denting it, it's made out of fibre glass.
Also I personally like the colour scheme of the Impala, though I think you should turn the bumper back into chrome.

Well, this is certainly a different and new step from ford, but it's the new concept Ford Focus RS8. Basically a souped up focus with a 420 bhp V8 :D .
Here's the link as well: http://www.supercars.net/cars/2003@$Ford@$Focus%20RS8%20Conceptg.html
BTW, you can thank Famine for this, as he's the reliable informer ;) , cheers man!
I'm afraid no pics, as for some reason I can't upload it  .

fear not. here is the complete coverage of that car on the SEMA show. interesting and qite sinister if you ask me.

looks like our cool V8s will be with us for a good long time. I cant wait to see the results of the ford ´Cammer.

Cano

loads of pics on those links. I'll have two FR100 panels, please. I want to kill BMW M3s with a panel truck :D

Yea that'll scare the M3 driver away from the lights :D .
Although I sooo hope Ford and Pontiac decide to put all those concepts you put links to there Cano (cheers btw for the links) into production. I have a feeling they'd sell a lot of them, especially the Mustang fast back. They got to, I mean they recently bgought out the Ford GT :D .

no man, that ford mustang aint a concept, its more like a... test mule for the new engine, like in the focus and the FR100. not into prodiuction, they are just factory hot rods built to show off the elements that go into the Ford racing catalog this year, starring the 5.0 "cammer" motor. dont expect to see them in show rooms, but in the ford Racing booth at hot rod events near you. that is why they were debuted at sema. what does sema stands for? ;)

Cano

practically, you can make your own oncept fastback. that is cooler, I think, than buying it from the factory.

You got me. :)
though I am with you on the fact that it is way cooler to make your own fastback thant buy one (to a certain extent). I'll shut up now.....:O

never too late, I think. even less with a car like yours and your way of thinking. a valuable ember I should say. welcome.

Cano

As Cano said, welcome on in ;) .

Cano, you (if you hadn't taken up the role already :p ;) ) I think you will have to be joint head owner of this club :) . Up for it?
