Now THAT is a tasty van.. The old Renault Espace with the F1 engine driving the rear wheels.. Completely useless as it has no useable cargo space but I could be persuaded to drive one I thinkOriginally posted by Roo
toyomatt84: Isn't that the Dodge van that can be tuned to beat stuff like Mustangs?
Both the vans XzifT posted make me want to drive into the side of them, Driver 2 style, and push them into a river.
And of course there's always this.
But not really like in the first postOriginally posted by Gil
If you go back to the '80's you'll find that modding up vans was pretty big in the US, Especially in California. Vans used to be a big part of the Surf scene. Then there's the "A-Team's" custom van...
Custom vans have been around a lot longer than mini vans.

Does anyone have any information/pictures on vanning? Basically vanning is making van look odd to most people, but its kinda cool if you learn into it.. An example of Vanning:
Almost anything can be made to go fast. You can't polish a turd man.Originally posted by toyomatt84
Mine aren't. Go to www.turbominivan.com and see.
There are videos there.
They can beat mustangs like mentioned above.

No, but you can use it to kick ass at both the strip and the autocross lot... and haul a lot of groceries around in between.Originally posted by Monster7

I want that van they used in 'Old School.'
You know..the scene where they go to pick up all the "pledges" with Master of Puppets playing in the backround. That van was sweet. All black with polished American Racing wheels and chrome exhaust pipes down the sides. Oh yeah!
I thought about buying one to haul my dirtbike around in. 👍
