The Mercedes seem to be struggling for speed. Hopefully they can find it soon.

Edit: anyone know when qualifying is?

qualifying is in the next hour and a half I believe, its about to be televised on local T.V so knowing Mark Skaife and Neil Crompton they will waffle on in a loop for half hour then a tumble weed will blow in, Larko will crack a joke and qualifying will start, this process takes around 1.45 hours,

Thanks. Hard to find the race schedules on the new site.

That's a bit unfair. They can't just jump straight into qualifying without any context in a regular season, much less in a season that has seen the most extensive overhaul of the technical regulations in the past twenty years.

Personally, NASCAR's commentary team is the best in the world, they don't go in loops, they make tools of themselves and say silly things, but rarely repeat themselves, Mark Skaife is Mr Repetitive, and will say the same sentance several times in an hour,

And as we speak there are technical difficulties,

Try google a livestream, or try speed.com

Just tried Justin.tv....nothing.

final practice is now,

No success finding anything. The guy who used to stream on Justin.tv doesn't seem to be around this year. :(

Edit: Someone just asked about their YouTube streams on their facebook and they responded:

Yes, we will be running a test today for qualifying an top 10 shootout. Keep an eye on the website for details.

👍

If it's good quality, I wouldn't mind paying for it.

Really not liking the look of those FPR cars at speed.:indiff:

There goes the SP Tools AMG engine! It started smoking just as Engel left the pits.

Thanks, been looking for a stream. Hopefully it'll be on for the rest of the weekend too.

Edit: Mclaughlin looking good :), and Van Gisbergen. Holdens are looking very strong, Mercs not so much.

Man the rear of the Commodores looks horrendous

New year, same old HRT it seems. Courtney 10th (at the moment) and Tander 18th. :sigh:

Edit: Seriously impressed with Scott Mclaughlin for GRM. The guy has got a bright future. 👍

Are you guys getting ad breaks or are they holding the cars in the pits for no apparent reason? This is kind of frustrating.

Van Gisbergens car looks like it has a moustache.

Edit: And it's quick!

The car holds did correspond with ad breaks, but the internet stream doesn't have any ads. 👍

Although what's quite annoying about the stream is that the second the action is over, they turn it off. :grumpy:

Oooh, Stoner just clouted the wall at Turn 3.

*cough GOOD cough*
Hopefully the commentators might be able to talk about someone else now.

Are these races going to be streamed live on youtube like the last round of 2012 was?

I think we've been over that 3 times in the last few pages.

Don't believe so. V8SC is doing their own streaming now on their website. This weekend is free, but it's a paid subscription after that. All the info is in a post above on this page. ;)

Sorry I should have gone and checked back :dunce:

Thanks though :)
