I don't see the issue to be honest.

If Whincup's transmission hadn't blown up in the first half of the race, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Too bad that it did too. :yuck:

Just keep the new winners coming, I say.

Qualifying results for todays races.

Race 26.
Bright on pole, D'Alberto to start second. Lowndes & Whincup to start 17th & 18th with yesterday's winner James Moffat in 25th.

Race 27.
Courtney on pole. :D ahead of Bright & Mostert. Moffat the best of the Nissans in 9th and Whincup in 17th.

Good job for those two. The run for the championship gets better and better! Can't get any closer with those times. The circuit is tight like Monaco

That's racing for you, it was just the day Nissan were meant to win it would seem.

^Exactly. 👍

G The run for the championship gets better and better!

Today is going to real interesting in terms of the championship, both FPR cars have a huge opportunity to take a big chuck out of Whincup's points lead. With Jamie starting so far back in the both races.

Forgot to mention the upgraded stream this weekend is fantastic. Only a couple small hiccups yesterday but never froze and I never had to reset. Playing great on my tablet now. 👍

The real racers are in the mid field. Here we go!!!

Knew it! Done!! I mean Premat couldn't stop on the wet grass but, geez!

Jamie did it. Nice one.

Moffat sure did make up some places

Good run from Moffat. He starts P9 I think for the last race so looking for a great result there. Loving the issues Red Bull are having.

Weird to see RB struggle but doesn't bother me see Whincup not be upfront! Atleast we see some new faces upfront. Glad to see HRT running stronger just hope to see McLaughlin grab another win this year.

Got my fingers crossed that Courtney can convert pole for the final race of the day into a victory.

And big congrats to D'Alberto on a career best 4th place. 👍

Hopefully Frosty can jump Whincup and Davison can move up to jump Lowndes in the points. Courtney should get this one. All eyes on Moffat :) hey, at least Erebus wasn't last.

I like how Mark Larkham is explaining everything about the fuel

Whincup again. Give him a drive thru.

Racing incident if you ask me. He cut left trying to avoid running into Premet. Unfortunate for Todd Kelly, that Altima's got some heavy damage.

Yeah, I saw the replay. Tough track for everyone. If you're not in the top 5, you just gotta hang on. Good thing the NISMO shop is down the road a piece.

Tough track for everyone.

Isn't it what, such a tough track to pass on. Winterbottom is stuck in down in 21st and going nowhere. Makes Moffat's run from 25th to 11th in the previous race all the more impressive.

Edit: Not a good day for the Kelly brothers.

The Hornets made a big gain just then.

I'm very wary of the guys on fresh tyres, there's only eight or nine laps left, though. Hopefully Courtney can finish this off.

Erebus should have just pitted Holdsworth. It's causing havoc trying to nurse it home.

He can do it. Coulthard is too far.

Yeah, those laps behind the safety car helped. Not enough laps left for the guys who pitted.

Hope, I didn't speak too soon. :nervous:

Yay!! :D

AWESOME! This is what we want. Can't wait for Sandown!!

Attack of the damn Holdens at the end.

Fresh tyres helped , get job by Mostert to hold off Tander at the death. 👍

12 different winners so far. Really refreshing after the FPR & Triple 8 dominance last year.

This year has turned into a pretty interesting one.

Glad to see Courtney get the win and Chaz is doing well.

This year has turned into a pretty interesting one.

Everyone was a bit worried when RB started winning. I guess it's expected of champions. The COTF really shows ALL the teams have brilliant people behind the scenes.

Now, the weekends racing gave us new winners but, that track. Maybe next year, they should replace it with a 300km at Eastern Creek. Since this is the last year at Homebush they can end it with a 300km night race at Eastern Creek or Adelaide.

Lowndes gets a penalty for careless driving http://www.speedcafe.com/2013/08/25/lowndes-hande-points-penalty-for-clash/

It's quite amazing how close this championship has become all of a sudden, just when it looked like Whincup would run away with it. 1st to 9th separated by 245pts.

Can't wait for the endurances races.

Yeah the only thing I hate about this series - length of time between race weekends.
